Newsletter May 2021

May 2021

Shalom Precious Supporters of Abundant Bread of Salvation,

We are living in times of emergency, war and uncertainty around the world, but especially in Israel. As I write this prayer letter update, there are rockets flying into Israel from the terrorist group, Hamas, from the Gaza Strip as well as yesterday, Hezbollah, on our Northern boarder with Lebanon. This week, there have been over 4000 rockets shot indiscriminately on most of the cities of Israel from all sides. This also escalated civil unrest in many cities with the over two million Israeli Arabs that normally dwell in peace, side-by-side with our Jewish people. Sadly, we have lost a dozen civilians and soldiers because of this evil hatred. We predict that you normally pray for Israel, so we want to ask that you step up these prayers a few notches.

We know Yeshua is in complete control and that His word is being fulfilled right before our eyes. We want to proclaim the promise of the scripture from Isaiah 2:4, “He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many people. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.” Can I get a big AMEN?! In last month’s prayer letter, we had acknowledged and observed Israel’s Memorial Day, asking you to remember and pray for our living soldiers as they do their best to protect our precious biblical heartland. Little did we know what would be happening as you receive this update. Abundant Bread of Salvation has stepped up to the plate to help the citizens of the south to both come and stay at our distribution center for refuge as well as provide food to as many as possible. Please, will you help with this emergency need of food and shelter, “For Such a Time as This?” We may even bring a carload of food products to the believers and the congregation for them to give away to those in great need, if we are able. They need you and we need you like never before! This month, we are also celebrating the biblical holiday of Shavuot, also known as Pentecost, the Giving of the Torah, and The Harvest, as well as the giving of the Ruach Ha Kodesh (The Holy Spirit.) So, there is much significance and meaning. We cry out, Abba, please send Your Holy Spirit to fall upon your people and include the Arabs to be filled with power when the Spirit falls on them. Amen! What an amazing Holiday that will be!

We were also able to have what we now call a Biblical Trip Kitchen. This time we took a bus load of Holocaust survivors to the Sea of Galilee, set up a special Yeshua boat trip with a wonderful Russian/Hebrew worship leader and let the love of God speak to everyone. We explained to them all the miracles that happened on this very sea, as well as the surrounding area. They were all practically in tears and so appreciated this fresh air and beautiful sea. For most, it was their first time out of the city in over fourteen months and for some, their first time on a boat on the Sea of Galilee. Halleluyah! We then treated them to a royal picnic lunch on the shores of the sea that my wife, Yamit, prepared. They were filled with amazing words of joy and eternally refreshed. See Pictures below!

We continue our Food Bag Program to over 400 poor and needy citizens every month and, again, we sense that this can easily double because of the current war situation as well as the horrible Corona situation that affected tens of thousands of our people, paralyzing them, economically. Please pray about how you can help with this and share this newsletter with others.

We also know based on the Word of God-The Bible, that there will be more wars against our God given prophetic land. Please give your largest donation now while your able. CLICK HERE.

This month we also commemorated Jerusalem Day, celebrating 54 years of the reunification of Jerusalem and over 5000 years as the ancient Capital of Israel. Psalm 122:6, “Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem. May those who love you be secure.” Very appropriate scripture for these un-secure days.

In closing, we wanted to wish all

of you mothers out there a

very Happy belated Mother’s Day.

I sure love and appreciate

my sweet Jewish mother.

With Grateful and Hopeful hearts in Yeshua, we thank you for your support.
