Shalom, Abundant Bread of Salvation Friends,

Here in Israel the heat is on! We say this in many ways including the actual high summer temperatures as well as the talk and knowledge from our local intelligent sources about an imminent war with our enemies and the bombardment of spiritual attacks against the very practical and spirit-filled work of Abundant Bread of Salvation. There IS a roaring lion out there friends! Boker Tov! However, I am happy to proclaim, even from the mountaintops of Israel, the spoken word from Romans 8:35-39: "Who will separate us from the love of Messiah? Trouble? Hardship? Persecution? Hunger? Poverty? Danger? War?" As the Tanakh puts it, "For your sake we are being put to death all day long, we are considered sheep to be slaughtered." No, in all these things we are super conquerors, through the one who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor other heavenly rulers, neither what exists nor what is coming, neither powers above nor powers below, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God which comes to us through the Messiah Yeshua, our Lord. Wow, what an awesome word for us all! We hope this encourages you, especially those going through a dry valley.

VERY EXCITING NEWS! I am in the process of putting together a trip to the USA in September/October, 2017, to raise awareness about the work of Abundant Bread of Salvation (ABOS) and share any other topics that may be of interest to those who receive me. I am happy to say that I will not be traveling alone as the main leader of our local Holocaust Survivor and Ghetto Camps of Netanya, Nachum, will be joining me to share his story and how he, by a miracle, survived the death camps as well as how ABOS provides for his people. This was such a wonderful surprise for me as he gave me his positive answer with tears in his eyes and a warm embrace. This will also be his birthday time as well as his first time coming to America. My friends, we are seeing history happening before our eyes! Obviously, we need your prayers as well, as there are many logistics, (besides him needing a visa), that come with bringing an 84 year old elderly Holocaust survivor on a flight and road trip of thousands of miles to the USA. Let me thank you ahead of time for your generosity, as this is much bigger than what we see in the natural.

More exciting news: We are happy to announce that in August we will officially be doing our soup kitchen weekly. We will serve a fresh, five course meal to over 200 poor and needy people during the month that represent six different people groups from Holocaust survivors, war veterans, handicap war veterans, refugees, Belarussian Jews, single mothers, widows and even a special soup kitchen for recovering drug addicts and alcoholics, mostly from the streets. Halleluyah! Please pray that this be like living water and the precious oil that runs down the beard of Aharon as mentioned in Psalm 133:2.
