Special End of the Year Report

Precious friend of Abundant Bread of Salvation,
First, we want to give our Israeli blessings and wish you a "Happy Holiday"during this Feast of Dedication (Hanukkah), that Yeshua celebrated in Jerusalem.  John 10:22-23 says, "Then came Hanukkah in Yerushalayim. It was winter and Yeshua was walking around inside the Temple area, in Shlomo's Colonnade."

As we end this year, we are very excited to share with you the practical blessings and salvations of our Jewish people. My friends, this does not come easy in Israel and for us, it is a clear sign of the hand of the Lord upon what He has called us to do. Hallelujah! As we end this year, it makes ALL the challenges worthwhile! For this, we praise Adonai and we thank YOU and the dozens who volunteered for us, for all your prayers and financial support! Matthew 25:40 should be a question we ask ourselves daily. What better time than now at the end of the year to give your most generous tax-deductible donation towards this expanding work and propel us forward into 2020 abundantly for His Kingdom? Please rejoice with our team by reading the below examples that explain just the tip of the iceberg of what was physically and spiritually done this past year through your generous support, prayers and the love of God. Hallelujah! Glory to God!

2019 Highlights:

Y  For His Name's sake, thousands of our Jewish people were tangibly blessed and prayed for at their own request with many giving their hearts and lives to their Lord, King and Messiah for eternity! How awesome is this, glory to God!

Y  For His Name's sake, we gave away over 6000 packed bags of food (roughly 70 tons), at our headquarters distribution center in Netanya. Each bag was filled with over 25 products serving at least over 400 families monthly.

Y  For His Name's sake, we had hundreds of volunteers serve alongside us at our soup kitchen where each needy person received a home-cooked, sit-down, five-course meal! At least 3800 hot meals were served many times, and take-home meals to help them through the week.  Click HERE, to donate towards the weekly soup kitchen.

Y  For His Name's sake, we also gave away over 30 tons of new and used clothes and blankets as well as much needed furniture.

Y  For His Name's sake, on roughly a dozen occasions, we visited two local orphanages doing prayer walks with believers. We also provided finances in-hand, sets of new blankets, shoes, school supplies, toys and clothes on many occasions to over 100 very needy orphans. On several occasions, the leaders of this Orthodox orphanage came to our headquarters to give us letters of appreciation.  Please click HERE, to give to the orphans

Y  For His Name's sake, we had at least a dozen gatherings of believers to conduct "Royalty Meals" with Holocaust survivors, giving them an elegant meal in a restaurant or banquet hall, along with concerts, dancing and sharing the eternal message of hope. Lives changed forever!  Click HERE, to donate towards the Royalty Meals.

Y  For His Name's sake, we took at least half a dozen organised bus trips to Biblical sites with poor and needy immigrants, war veterans, Holocaust survivors and refugees. One specific visit was to the Joshua Aaron Music and Worship House over-looking the Sea of Galilee. Hallelu Et Adonai! Praise the Lord!  Click HERE, to donate towards a Royalty Biblical Excursion.

Y  For His Name's sake, our Adopt-A-Holocaust Survivor Program, having almost 50 survivors financially adopted by believers! This same leader Nachum pleads with me to ask you to please help financially adopt another 50 survivors that have signed up but have not yet been adopted. Every soul is precious! Their time is short! The set time is now before it is too late, and they are all gone.  Please click HERE and adopt a Holocaust survivor today before the end of the year! They need you!

Y  For His Name's sake, Abundant Bread of Salvation is on the rise, "Not by might, nor by power, but by His spirit!" Thank you again for your sacrificial giving and prayers as we soar like eagles into 2020! Happy Hanukkah and Happy New Year, in His eternal hope!  Click HERE, to give your largest End-of-the-Year Tax Deductible donation and help us soar like eagles shining His light brightly all year long. We cannot do this with out YOU. Thank you always for your prayers.

November 2019

Shalom, Faithful Ones in Messiah,

What a wonderful time to open this letter to you with praise and thanks unto our God and to you who daily lift us up in prayer and support.
Psalm 100:4, states "Enter His gates with thanksgiving, enter His courtyards with praise and give thanks to Him and bless His name."
May we declare this together, amen!
Our Israeli team would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving filled to overflowing.

It says in Isaiah 52:7 and Romans 10:15, "How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation and say to Zion, Your God reigns!"  Well, my friends, this is exactly what Abundant Bread of Salvation does and typically in the most practical forms as well.  Recently, we had a short term volunteer who comes every year from Canada who is a Nurse and specializes in foot care for the elderly and Holocaust survivors.  We were able to organize many days for her to personally take care of these dry boned and dry skinned feet, however she always did it with loving, patient care as well as prayer as if she was washing the very feet of our Jewish Messiah Yeshua (Jesus).  Lives were transformed and feet were refreshed giving people a joyful step as they left our outreach center.  We appreciate our volunteers from the nations so much!  Please come and bring your gifts, skills and talents and bless our elderly and poor people while they are still here among us!

This month we gave out over four hundred food packets to the poor and needy as well as our amazingly tasty five-course soup kitchen meal that happens weekly and serves over 200 people monthly. CLICK HERE-To give your biggest Thanksgiving Food Bag offering.
On top of this, we had two more Royalty Meal events and one of the women came to faith in her Jewish Messiah Yeshua!  Praise The Lord!  We are always encouraged by seeing the spiritual fruit of eternal life through our earthly efforts.  One of the Royalty Meals was sponsored together with a group of prayer intercessors from several states in the U.S.A. and Germany.  Besides the amazing break-throughs in unspoken conversations at each of the tables filling almost eighty seats, one of the many highlights was two young kids that sang a duet from their hearts, "Yes, Yeshua (Jesus) loves me."  There was joy, peace and a very tangible presence of the Holy Spirit (Ruach Ha Kodesh), in the whole banquet hall.  We even broke out in traditional Jewish song, inviting the survivors and intercessors to dance in a circle of light.  Rejoice in the Lord!  Click Here, to support a Royalty Meal

Dear friends, lastly we wanted to share about an urgent need and matter that has sadly happened. Our multi-purpose ministry vehicle has broken down in a dramatically expensive way that puts it in a situation that is not worth fixing, thus leaving us without this necessary vehicle that gets me, as well as volunteers, back and forth to the ministry headquarters, and is also used to pick up Holocaust survivors for important meetings and ministry events, and for transporting clothes, furniture and much needed humanitarian aid for the poor and needy on a regular basis.
The type of reliable ministry van that we need will cost approximately $50,000 U. S. dollars.  Please give what you can with a generous heart and clearly mark on the gift,
"Ministry Vehicle."
  Please also, call us at (213) 265-9796 or email us at brian@abundantbread.com to let us know of this specific designation or if you have any questions.

With thankful hearts for our Messiah Yeshua and the great and mighty calling He has on our lives to reach the most needy ones for eternity.  Thank you, mishpochah (family).

Newsletter October 2019

October 2019

Shalom, Dear Ones of The Sacrificed Lamb, Yeshua!

We are living in some very significant times. This month, our Jewish people as well as many believers in Yeshua (Jesus) that understand the biblical feasts know that the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur), as well as Sukkot (the Feast of Tabernacles), are some of the most significant, prophetic and holy holidays. There are so many scriptural types and shadows of how Yeshua fulfills these very biblical and times and seasons. As mentioned in reference to the Day of Atonement, Hebrews 9:7 says, "But only the high priest entered the inner room and that only once a year and never with blood, which he offered for himself and for the sins the people had committed in ignorance." In reference to the Feast of Tabernacles, Yeshua Himself tabernacled among us in the flesh as He chose to be born in a less-than-glorious and lowly place. Not only that, as a young Jewish man, he deliberately took the Festival of Sukkot and spoke about himself as accounted in the
book of John 7:37-38, and said "If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living waters." How awesome and how cool is that, my friends?! This is what Abundant Bread of Salvation is all about in serving and providing for our Jewish people in the most practical forms that will not only give physical life, but also give rivers of living waters to their souls. Hallelujah! Can you feel my excitement?

On top of our regular weekly activities of soup kitchen and food bag distribution center, this month many other activities have been set up that are bringing blessing and newness of life to our poor and needy people as well as Holocaust survivors, single mothers and widows. We built a Sukkah (Tabernacle), in the back yard of our home and for the second year in a row, we were able to bring a busload of Holocaust survivors into this temporary dwelling place, giving them refreshing drinks, fruits and vegetables and explaining to them the blessings of each day of life God gives us, our health, as well as the infilling of the Ruach Ha Kodesh (the Holy Spirit.) We then got back on the bus and brought them for a couple hours drive to the Sea of Galilee on the Jordan River to a Sukkot BBQ experience which had live worship music by International Messianic Music artist Joshua Aaron. It was glorious, but also had much spiritual warfare. One of the Holocaust Survivors almost passed out! This is why we always need your prayers.  They are getting old and passing on quickly right before our eyes.

We also recently brought a busload of Holocaust survivors up to Jerusalem to experience the world premier of a biblical musical of the Book of Daniel, which had topnotch actors and singers from Africa and America. The survivors' responses were far beyond my expectations, asking how they can know more about the Book of Daniel! One of our local Russian Jewish volunteers has a weekly Bible study that many of them said "they would like to come and learn more of the miracles of God that happened in the story of Daniel." Please pray that their eyes and hearts are open to His Good News of salvation.

There is so much more that has happened this month that I cannot even fit on another page, but upon ending this letter, I want to praise the Lord for two more amazing Royalty Meals that happened with Holocaust survivors. One was with a dear friend and pastor of ours from Hawaii and his group of thirty and their forty Holocaust survivor guests! It was like tropical, living waters and breathing new life into these dry bones! We also had a special meeting with Rosemary Schindler honoring our survivors at a historical, British Jewish prison camp called Atlit and then a meal overlooking the beautiful, ancient Cesarean port. Thank God this camp is closed and only a memory of the past that us Jews struggled to make this Promised Land what it is today; a true world changing miracle!

Thank you for your continued prayers and your support! Only because of this we can continue this work of bringing eternity in the most tangible form.

Glory to His name!

Yom Kippur Scripture Meditations

October 2019
Abundant Atoning Blessings from Abundant Bread of Salvation:
Yom Kippur Scripture Meditations:
Yom Kippur is a solemn day when Jewish people reflect on their sin from the past year. They come humbly before God seeking forgiveness and His favorable “sealing” for the coming year. Messianic Jews understand that Yeshua (Jesus) is our perfect high priest who sacrificed His own blood and took it into the heavenly Holy of Holies on our behalf. With His blood, He made complete atonement for us.
Here are some Scriptures to help as you worship God on Yom Kippur. May your day be filled with humility, genuine repentance, gratitude and awe.
Yeshua, your atonement
The Jewish roots of the New Covenant come alive in Hebrews chapters 7–10 as they reveal how Yeshua is our high priest, sacrifice and atonement.
Consider what your sin cost Yeshua
* He humbled Himself to save you – Philippians 2:5–8
* He suffered fear, anguish and pain for you – Luke 22:41–44. Luke 22:63–65, Isaiah 53
* He was scarred more than any man – Isaiah 52:14
* He willingly gave His life “for the joy set before Him”: your reconciliation to God – Hebrews 12:1–3

Meditate on what YESHUA/Jesus’ sacrifice acquired for you
* Eternal life – John 3:16, 10:28
* Abundant life – John 10:10
* Peace with God – Romans 5:1
* Redemption – Ephesians 1:7–8
* Atonement – 1 John 2:2, 4:10
* The righteousness of God – 2 Corinthians 5:21
* You are a child of God – John 1:12
* You are a new creation – 2 Corinthians 5:17
* You cannot be separated from God’s love – Romans 8:35
* You are sealed for eternity in God – 2 Corinthians 1:21–22, Ephesians 1:13–14
* There is no longer any condemnation for you – Romans 8:1

Reflect on what Yeshua does for you
* He never leaves you – Matthew 28:20
* He intercedes for you – Hebrews 7:25
* He empowers and strengthens you – Philippians 4:13
* He heals you – 1 Peter 2:23–24, Isaiah 53:5
* He helps you when you are tested – Hebrews 2:18

May you have a sacred and holy Yom Kippur.

Thank you for your prayers for the eyes of our Jewish People to be opened as we daily serve them here in Israel.

Newsletter September 2019

September 2019

To all our Precious friends in Messiah Yeshua,

We want to start this praise report news letter first, by blessing you with His Word, even as He is the Living Word. Read and proclaim this verse aloud personally for yourself. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah  29:11.

And with this above scripture verse, is my very personal life testimony of His faithfulness that I will now share with you.

I was raised in a traditional but non-religious Jewish family in the San Fernando Valley in California. Before reaching my teens, I fell into a deceptive life of drug and alcohol abuse. As I reached the end of high school, God miraculously rescued me out of darkness to begin my new life of recovery and spiritual discovery with the Messiah Yeshua-(Jesus), in 1987. Incidentally or shall we say by divine appointment, as a result of my new faith, I felt called to reach out to those with similar afflictions and poverty, getting my certification as a drug and alcohol counselor as well my Psychiatric Nursing License. Glory to God in the highest for this testimony!

Brian's past life as a teen. Now saved by His grace!

 On top of serving over 400 poor and needy people and Holocaust Survivors in our weekly Food Bag Distribution Center, Soup Kitchen, Humanitarian Biblical Trips, Spirit Filled Concerts and Orphanages, we also have a healthy relationship and outreach to a local Bible based Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Center in Netanya. We provide monthly food for this rehab. center, plus clothes, shoes and Biblical counselling and teaching as needed. We are always amazed at the awesome testimonies that come from these once homeless and forgotten, that struggle with addictions and praise our Great Healer, when we see smiles upon their faces because of being set free, many coming straight out of years of being in prison. Hallelujah! CLICK HERE, to support and pray for our work and outreach to the broken and addicted in Yeshua's name!
Please pray today for all the Israeli Drug Addicts and Alcoholics and for their salvation as we reach them with His love!
Yeshua Loves to Redeem His Children
2nd Corinthians 5:17 says, "Therefore, if anyone is in Messiah, he is a new creation. The old has passed away and behold, the new has come."

I am very happy to share an update regarding the Matching Grant Giving Opportunity. First of all, I want to thank all of you who gave into the Matching Grant to double your funds for July. We almost raised up to the half way mark of $50,000 for July. Our generous donor was so encouraged that he granted Abundant Bread of Salvation an extra 30 days for everyone to be able to give into this double your impact opportunity to reach over and beyond the $50,000 goal. So, please act now to be able to sow abundantly into this amazing opportunity, "For Such a time as this!"

As we prepare to end this prayer and update letter, there are two more exciting things about to take place. One is that all of Israel's beautiful children are officially back to school starting September 1st. This is our future generation that also need the love of Messiah so much. Please pray for them as they do their utmost under a ton of peer pressure and fear of war in some areas.

Secondly, as you read this, The Jewish New Year, 5780 (Rosh Ha Shanah), is upon us.
Happy Jewish New Year! Hag Sameach!

How amazing that we can celebrate this fresh start by praying for our Jewish People and the work and impact of Abundant Bread of Salvation and see eternal results and fruit right before our eyes. Amen!

Abundant thanks and todah, for all your prayers and for your Double Impact Matching Grant gifts today.
