(FEAST OF UNLEAVENED BREAD),
FROM ABUNDANT BREAD OF SALVATION!

March 2018

Shalom and Passover Greetings from Israel!

We want to bless you during this very prophetic Biblical season of The Feast of Unleavened Bread; Pesach or Passover. During this time, there are a couple of popular sayings here in Israel; "Spring is here, Passover is coming" and "Next Year in Jerusalem". As you receive this letter, both of these will be fulfilled as I celebrate this solemn, communal, traditional meal in Israel's capitol city, Jerusalem. Abundant Bread of Salvation is all about proclaiming the sacrificial, spotless Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world as written in the ancient scriptures of Isaiah 53:7 and John 1:29. Every month, as we practically serve hundreds of our poor and needy Jewish people, they hear about the precious salvation that comes only through the blood of the Lamb.  Happy Passover to all our friends near and afar!

ALIYAH-Going up to the Mountain of the Lord

This is also a very special and prophetic season for me, personally.  21 years ago this month, the Lord called me to make aliyah (immigrate to Israel from Los Angeles, California). Halleluyah! Do you think the Lord may have had something up His sleeve for me to do here?  It's all HIS-tory!

New Shoes For Passover Changes Souls
Orphan feet adopted! A great deed that Abundant Bread of Salvation was able to help fulfill this Passover (called the Holiday of Freedom), was the purchase of shoes for all of the over 70 girls. These girls inhabit a local orphanage that we often help as well as do prayer walks with many believer groups that come to visit us. We definitely see the hand of God work through us shining His light in this Ultra Orthodox Jewish institution.  Thank you!  We could not do this without your financial help.   Click HERE, to give to Orphanage projects.

Seminar for Believer Leaders at Yad V'Shem
Recently, I was invited, along with my co-worker, to a very special seminar at the worlds largest Holocaust survivor museum located right here in our front yard in Jerusalem.  This was a very special invitation to help spiritual leaders as well as leaders of organizations like Abundant Bread of Salvation to understand and get an insider's perspective of this most precious and sensitive subject of the Jewish people and world history, the Holocaust, concentration camps and the Ghetto.  We were given a private tour even to a special under ground room where donated artifacts are preserved from those who survived this atrocity and smuggled out from the death camps.  We were also educated on past and present anti-Semitism and how to recognize the difference between straight politics and blatant anti-Semitism.  It really was eye-opening for all of us and a great opportunity to meet many museum leaders and their sacrificial work at the museum.
Am Israel Chai!   The People of Israel Live!  Halleluyah!

Being Chosen to Believe, is Being Called to Adoption
James 1:27 states, "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." Our Adopt-A-Holocaust Survivor Program is well underway, giving financial checks monthly to each survivor who has been adopted by a believer in Yeshua (Jesus) and has sent in their sponsorship.  We still have over 50 Survivors waiting to be adopted.  Will you please pray about being the next true believer, practicing pure religion, to adopt one or two survivors or share with others who can?  Please help while they are still with us.  As I write this, one of our precious survivors is in the hospital in intensive care.

Proverbs 31:8-9 says,  "Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves and defend the rights of the poor and needy."  For Inquires on how to adopt, please email,  valery@abundantbread.com.

Brian and the Abundant Bread of Salvation Team want to thank you for all your prayers and support.

PRE-NEWSLETTER ANNOUNCEMENT!
HAPPY PURIM! HAPPY PURIM! HAPPY PURIM!
Esther 4:14
For if you fail to speak up now, relief and deliverance will come to the Jews from a different direction; but you and your father's family will perish. Who knows whether you didn't come into your royal position precisely for such a time as this."
PURIM 2018: The Jewish festival of Purim begins in Israel on Thursday evening, 1 March and will continue through sunset on 2 March. It's a celebration of redemption and a time of great merry-making as Jews throughout the world remember the deliverance from the hands of the wicked Haman, who tried to instigate the annihilation of the Jews of Persia. The Biblical Book of Esther, recited on this holiday by Jews throughout the world, tells the story of how the Jewish queen Esther and her uncle Mordechai saved the Persian Jewish community from destruction. Families and neighbors give gifts of sweets to each other, and many dress-up in costumes for festive events. A JOYFUL Purim from our Abundant Bread of Salvation staff members to friends near and far. Esther 8:16-17: The Jews had light and gladness and joy and honor. And in every province and in every city, wherever the king's command and his edict reached, there was gladness and joy among the Jews, a feast and a holiday. And many from the peoples of the country declared themselves Jews, for fear of the Jews had fallen on them.

Shalom Dear Lover of Israel and Her People,

We start this letter off by reminding you of how much our Lord and Messiah Yeshua-Jesus loves you.  In 1 Corinthians 13, it's all summed up in these words, "The greatest of these is love."  Also, John 15:13 says, "Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends."  Abundant Bread of Salvation is proud to have friends and financial partners as well as volunteers, like you.  We are also just as delighted to be serving every month many hundreds of poor and needy that we not only consider friends, but that we consider family in the style of our practical and spiritual service unto them.

This month I celebrated my birthday and was honored to do so for my second year now together with the local leaders of the Ghetto Survivors Association.  Not only did we enjoy a nice meal and fellowship together, but did it Mediterranean style at a restaurant on the beach front of Netanya. Another year older, wiser and richer in Yeshua.  Halleluyah!

Recently, the Red Sea was Parted at Israel's Ben Gurion Airport!
The Lord opened the doors for me by official invitation, by a City Worker of Netanya to join hands in welcoming a full plane-load of over 200 new Jewish Immigrants from Ukraine, to their prophetic homeland.  This was a most amazing experience and blessing to be the first person to receive these full families, singles, elderly, children and even many miniature dogs.  They were greeted with smiles, handshakes and hugs. I was even able to pray with several of them blessing them and welcoming them home.  We also gave them drinks, sandwiches and rejoiced with them with pictures, Davidic dance and signs saying,  ''Welcome to Israel," in three languages.  Several of them gave me their phone numbers and within a week we already connected them with practical assistance.  Halleluyah, they were hugely blessed!  My friends, this literally is a fulfillment of Ezekiel 37:14, which says, "I will put my spirit in you and you will live and I will settle you in your own land."   Praise Adonai!

Abundant Increase of Soup Being Served Up
We are delighted say that many more stomachs are happy and filled as we recently increased our soup kitchen activities. Each time, at least 40-50 people are served a five-course meal.  Our cook is amazing, as he does this task with such a heart of service unto our King and Redeemer to bless our people not just in Word, but in deed.  2 Kings 4:38 says, "Put the great pot on the fire and make soup for the sons of the prophets."

Treating Holocaust Survivors to a Royal Meal
We recently, again, treated over 100 Holocaust Survivors to what we call a Royalty Meal.  The banquet hall was filled from wall to wall with roughly 125 participants containing an awesome group of believers from Hawaii, loving on our dear precious sole Survivors from the Holocaust, with Hawaiian Spirit, even teaching them the traditional Hula dance.  We were also delighted to have world renowned Messianic Music Artist Carolyn Hyde from Heart of G-d, as well as Lori Kate Lowenhar, from Heart of Galilee, to crank up the Spirit of worship a few notches and bless us with a taste of heaven that not only feeds the physical soul, but the spirit as well, inviting the Survivors into a dance circle, watching all their fears, problems and horrific memories melt away.  Praise Adonai, again making memories for eternity!

PLEASE, ask us about our Adopt-a Survivor program or click here, that is now monthly, physically putting checks into their hands.  We have another 50 survivors that are desperately awaiting adoption by believers.  Ezekiel 37.
