Newsletter February 2017

February 2017

Shalom, dear partner, from the beautiful winter wonder land of Israel,

This last month has been a great month of God pouring out physical rain upon the physical land of Israel.  It is refreshing and a reminder of God's true blessing upon us, even when we do not deserve it.  It is amazing to see that during our weekly dry food bag distribution, it is pouring rain, and yet this doesn't keep the over 350 poor and needy people from coming to receive their free food parcels, clothes, and the warm love of God that breathes new life into their dry bones.
The Holocaust survivors, war veterans, widows and single mothers that have come to the soup kitchen before they are half-way through their meal are already asking, "When will be the next date we will have this divine meal again?"  We ask them for their patience as there are other groups we invite that are also asking the same question, "When will it be our turn?"  Please pray that God continue to work through us as we serve up these delicious, five-star meals as well as His "eternal" food that is felt by all present.
Special Order Eye Glasses: Matthew 13:16 "Blessed are your eyes because they see."
This last month we were able to distribute more eyeglasses to the poor and needy as well as to the survivors.  They were a special order from America.  Our recipients were so surprised, happy and blessed as they could see properly again! We even checked their vision with a special eye chart with John 3:16 written in Russian in big letters as well as other scriptures, that shared the Good News, that were written in small and smaller words line-by-line just like a regular eye chart.  As they would read, we could see even their eyes would light up as they read these words of life and salvation.  Amen!  Please pray that their blinders would truly be removed by the power of His Ruach Ha Kodesh, (the Holy Spirit).

The below pictures are just a few of the recipients that left our distribution center with a more CLEAR VISION of God's love for them.  Halleluyah!
A Fulfillment of Biblical Prophecy:
One of the special groups that we serve in our Dry Food Bag Distribution Center is new immigrants in Israel, up to 18 months.  Every month, we are receiving more and more.  Recently, one of our new recipients named Sara, a young woman, only in Israel 3 weeks, asked us to pray for her as she is all alone in Israel.  Another recipient was a widow that recently lost her mother.  Our team was able to embrace her and pray for her grieving process that she shared with us.  I, myself, cried with her as I felt her pain.  This is what we call healing Biblical prophecy in action.  Amen!

Romans 8:37, says, "No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us".  This scripture is a constant reminder to our team at Abundant Bread of Salvation of how important the pure and true love of God can cover a multitude of sins and change the lives of these people for eternity.
Lastly, on my birthday this month I was able have a special celebration meal on the Mediterranean Sea beach of Netanya with the leaders of the Ghetto Holocaust Survivors Association.  What an honor to share my special day with these precious souls.
As our team is poured out for Him to our Jewish People, please continue to pour out your prayers and financial blessings to continue this precious work of God.

Newsletter January 2017

"WE REMEMBER"
IMPORTANT ADDITION TO BELOW NEWSLETTER:
Today, is International Holocaust Remembrance Day.  I just got off the phone with Nachum, the main leader of the Netanya Branch of Holocaust Survivors, the biggest branch in Israel.  I told him how much we love him and his people and that not only will we
NEVER FORGET, but that WE ARE COMMITTED, to practically support and assist them in every way possible in this new year. Help us to remind EVERYONE to remember, by taking a picture of yourself holding a sign with the words, "WE REMEMBER" and posting it on ours and your Facebook Page, Twitter and/or Instagram.

January 2017
Shalom Dear Partner in Messiah,

Happy New Year 2017!  What a Mighty God we serve!  We praise Him for bringing us THROUGH, 2016 with many trials, fires, and heart-breaking challenges.  We are commanded to praise Him and love Him first, even in the most difficult of circumstances, so this, we will do at Abundant Bread of Salvation.  As we press forward in this New Year, we will continue to shine His love and light through every physical act of kindness, prayer, hug, and even hold the hands and cry with the hundreds of needy people that walk through our doors.
Without your prayers and support, these precious people would never have the hope that we provide for them in our facility with basic food, clothes, and the eternal love of God.
In the Book of Revelation 12:11 it says, "And they have conquered him, (Satan) by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives, even unto death".
We all know that birth and death are a natural part of life and both are typically painful. Sometimes the pain is bittersweet and sometimes it brings great rejoicing.  Recently, we experienced both of these.  I will share two stories that are a direct result of the work of Abundant Bread of Salvation.
The first story is about a young Israeli woman.  A couple of years ago she somehow found our phone number and called us in the middle of the night asking if it would be possible to rescue her out of a home that she was taken prisoner as a sex slave.  Long story short, the impossible became possible with lots of prayer, wisdom and the help of God.  That same week, we met with her in a coffee shop, shared the Good News with her and she accepted her Messiah as Lord.  Recently, however, we received another phone call about her.  With this phone call we were sadly told that she was found dead of an unknown cause in her home and the funeral was going to be the next day and they requested our presence if possible.  I was able to attend the funeral and everyone asked from where I knew her.  I was able to share about the great spiritual encouragement I was able to be to her and was also able to pray words of comfort over her mother and father at her memorial.  We thank God for her eternal salvation and the ability to bring light into the darkness.  We dedicate this prayer letter of new beginnings to the memory of Anabella.  CLICK HERE, to help give your support, so that we can help others like Anabella.  Sadly, there are many more like her.
The second story, although quite different, is about a Russian elderly man who is over 90 years old.  He is the leader of the Belorussian group that we practically serve and bless, over 100 of his people.  This man is very active, strong-willed and an aggressive personality; not always easy to deal with  We know HOWEVER, that no one is impossible for God to reach.  I once was one of those people myself.  Recently, one of our Russian Jewish believer volunteers asked him if he would like a home visit.  To our surprise, he welcomed the visit, he heard the Good News and accepted Messiah into his ripe, old-aged heart. Halleluyah!  Our volunteer reported to me that on his own initiative, he continued to read God's Word for the next couple hours and was rejoicing to know that he now has eternal Life.  My friends, what a way to start off the New Year, with new hearts, eternal life and rejoicing, even in the midst of the storms.  It's these stories that make what we do ALL,worth it!
Since writing this newsletter, the women below, who is his girl friend has also excepted Messiah into her heart as well at a local Bible study that we sponsor.   Halleluyah!!
I don't know about you, but our team is more motivated than ever to proclaim the Good News and practically see even more lives changed as we continue our soup kitchen and distribution center activities to over 500 poor and needy people every month.  Our Holocaust survivors are dying daily.  The set time is now, to comfort our people.
Thank you again for your continued prayers, financial support and volunteerism in 2017.

Newsletter December 2016

See and hear from the people that YOU, blessed in 2016.

December, 2016

Precious Friends of Abundant Bread of Salvation,

This year has soared by, right before our eyes with many trials and challenges, however with many Victories of blessing our Jewish people practically and spiritually. Halleluyah!
At the end of the day and now more so at the end of the year, it makes it ALL, worthwhile! For this we praise Adonai and we thank YOU, for all your prayers and support!
Rejoice with our team, by reading the below few examples that explain just the tip of the iceberg of what was physically done this past year through your generous support, prayers and the love of God. Halleluyah - Glory to God!

Highlights 2016:
Y Hundreds of our Jewish people were tangibly blessed, prayed for at their own request and many giving their hearts and lives to their Lord, King and Messiah for eternity.  Halleluyah!
Y By His grace, we gave away over 6000 packed bags of food, (roughly 70 tons), at our headquarters distribution center in Netanya. Each bag filled with over 21 products. Serving at over 400 families monthly.  Click here now to give your one time - End of The Year Tax deduction.
Y By His grace, we hired a professional cook for our weekly soup kitchen and had hundreds of volunteers serve alongside us, where each needy person received a home cooked sit down five course meal. At least 3800 hot meals served, as well as take home fresh bread, vegetables, fruits and many times take home meals to help them through the week. We also gave away over 30 tons of new and used clothes as well as much needed furniture. Click here now to give towards these HOT Meals.
Y By His grace, on roughly a dozen occasions, we visited two local orphanages doing prayer walks as well as providing sets of new blankets, shoes, school supplies, toys as well as clothes on many occasions to over 100 very needy orphans. We also started a new pioneering effort of taking the orphans on special organized trips on rented buses to Biblical sights for a time of refreshment and fun, as well interacting with Believers. On several occasions, the leaders of this Orthodox facility came to our headquarters to give us special cards and pictures made by the kids thanking us for our love, care and generosity. Click here NOW, to give to the orphans.
Y By His grace, we again had over half a dozen gatherings of Believers to do Royalty Meals with Holocaust Survivors, giving them an elegant meal in a Restaurant or banquet hall, along with concerts, dancing as well as sharing the life changing message of hope. Lives are changed forever.
Y By His grace, we took a half a dozen organized bus trips to the Biblical sights on the shores of the Galilee, with poor and needy Immigrants, War Veterans, Holocaust survivors and refugees. A majority of these people had never seen the Sea of Galilee.
Y Abundant Bread of Salvation, is on the rise as we increase our efforts and continue to find favor and work with our local city officials, social workers, and many organizations to bring practical and spiritual restoration to these Dry Bones and the Nation of Israel!
Zechariah 4:6 - "Not by might, nor by power, but by your spirit says the Lord!"
Thank you again for your sacrificial giving and prayers as we soar like eagles into 2017.

Happy New Year, in His eternal hope.
