Newsletter October 2021

October 2021     Dear Friends and Precious Family in Yeshua (Jesus),   We are proclaiming Good News from the mountain tops; however, this news is an announcement from the Israeli government regarding the accountability status of Abundant Bread of Salvation. We have received an official government letter given to us by our attorney that states our non-profit status is above and beyond the normal status of keeping good and orderly financial records until the end of 2022. We go through a rigorous process with the help of our accountant, as well as our attorney, to keep everything above board. As supporters and people of prayer, we thought you’d like to know the great news the Lord has bestowed upon us.  This was done with much diligence and hard work so that we may continue to do this practical and eternal work of providing and changing lives forever in Yeshua’s name. As I write this prayer letter update, we are finishing an extended ministry trip in the U.S.A. We have had abundant divine appointments sharing about the thriving ministry to the poor and needy, as well as the current COVID situation in Israel that affects our society and the whole world. Please pray for my elderly and sick mom and dad, whom we leave behind. We were delighted to also have some quality times of visiting and praying with them. By the time you read this prayer letter, we should be back in Israel, by God’s grace, safe and sound. Thank you for praying for our safe return to Israel with all their tight restrictions and mandates. Please will you help cover the cost of this essential ministry and honor your mother and father trip. Click HERE to give your biggest gift. I feel led by the Spirit to encourage you with a scripture that speaks life! 1 Corinthians 15:55 and 57 says, “Where, O’ death, is your victory, where, O’ death, is your sting? But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Yeshua, the Messiah.” I hope this encourages some of you, because no matter what is happening around us or in this world, we already have the victory! Amen! A couple more victories happening through Abundant Bread of Salvation we would like to share and have you pray into: By special request, an Arab Christian Pastor in the city of Haifa, recently sent us an email requesting food bags to share with the poor and needy Arabs as well as Lebanese Refugees that he reaches out to in Yeshua’s name. He knows them and their dire situations. For now, we have committed ten bags and toilet paper costing $25 dollars per bag (10 bags =$250). Our desire is to provide 20 food bags and toilet paper every month. We only need ten new donors to pray and commit $50 dollars each month or twenty new donors to provide $25 dollars monthly. If you are already giving monthly and feel led to increase your monthly donation to help with this project of Jewish Believers helping Arabs Believers reach more people practically and for eternity, please listen to His voice. This is all for a great testimony and for His glory! Double your giving today! Please help give through us to bless these precious poor and needy Arabs and Lebanese for Yeshua's sake. DOUBLE YOUR DONATIONS Our last great news is that we want to encourage you in your prayers. This month and next month only, one of our donors has committed to giving a matching grant that would double your donation, up to $50,000 dollars. Please, do not miss this amazing and generous opportunity, especially with the holidays and new year around the corner. This would be an ideal way to give your end-of-the-year, tax-deductible donations. How about using this time to give towards the urgent Adopt-A-Survivor program and have your gift doubled dollar-for-dollar? Double the amount of food bags, Biblical field trips or concerts for Survivors or the great need to help with the Messianic drug and alcohol program that we assist monthly? All this, doubled to see His hand move mightily for eternity through us! for this $50,000 from our friend and dedicated donor. We know this makes the Lord rejoice for all your faithfulness. Please mark your donation, “DOUBLE IMPACT”. Thank you for your much needed prayers and encouragement! One click away and your gift will be doubled. Newsletter September 2021

Shalom Dear Precious Ones in Yeshua,

During this season in Israel, we say to each other, "Moadiim L’Simcha," which means "these are times of rejoicing." This rejoicing has been very clouded because of Israel’s Covid mandates and severe restrictions to its citizens. Please pray that God’s light shine through all this darkness.

The 6th of this month is the Feast of Trumpets (Rosh HaShana). Oh, how we would all rejoice in hearing the shofar sound and seeing our Messiah Yeshua return in the blink of an eye! It says in 1 Thessalonians 4:16, “With the voice of an archangel and with the sound of the trumpet of God." Halleluyah! On the 15th of September is Yom Kippur also known as The Day of Atonement. We thank God for Yeshua and His atonement for our sin. Halleluyah!

The 20th of September is the Feast of Tabernacles-(Sukkot). We rejoice in knowing that Yeshua (Jesus) tabernacles with us and pray He opens the eyes of the Jewish people we serve for His eternal glory. Can I get a firm AMEN?!

Israel now has the world’s highest Covid-19 reported cases in the world after being the highest vaccinated nation in the world. This, sadly, has brought much speculation, hopelessness and division to Israel’s citizens. We at Abundant Bread of Salvation serve a Mighty God, so we know that Yeshua has called us to be His ray of hope, especially when things are getting darker and darker. His light always shines brighter in the darkness. Amen! Please pray for Israel and our precious kingdom work for His glory and eternal value. My wife and I are currently traveling in the U.S.A. having ministry meetings as well as visiting family. Please pray for our health, safe travels and many divine appointments during our journey. Also, please pray for our front-line team back home in Israel as they continue the practical work for Yeshua. They are His hands and feet, boots on the ground, while we are boots on the ground from afar, sharing the Good News about the work of Abundant Bread of Salvation. We love that we are a team working towards a common goal and YOU are part of this team! As part of this team, will you please click HERE, to give your largest sacrificial Biblical Feast First Fruits Gift. Todah-Thank you.

Some exciting news to pray into and if you're led by His spirit to support, then by all means, please give into this eternal project. Many of you have heard of the Messianic musician, Joshua Aaron. Abundant Bread of Salvation is very good friends with him and his ministry to bring Jewish praise and salvation to the earth. Joshua Aaron features our ministry and the 35 Holocaust survivors on his Live at the Tower of David recording in Jerusalem. Please look it up on You Tube or click on play but on picture below. The song we are featured in is called "Bring us Back."

We are happy to announce and greatly need your support to bring another bus load of Holocaust survivors to yet another live recording in Jerusalem.  This time it will be at the original site called Golgotha-The Empty Garden Tomb. Matthew 27:33, says “They came to a place called Golgotha (which means the place of the skull)." This site, my friends, is the most authentic site of where Yeshua (Jesus), was buried, resurrected and ascended into the heavenlies. What a day of rejoicing and ministry this will be to again breathe new life into these dry bones, our precious Holocaust survivors. Please, we need your prayers and financial support now more than ever before it’s too late.  PLEASE, click HERE to give into this Resurrection Project, breathing His new life into their dry bones. What better way to see His glory than through His resurrection power. Amen! This very well could be one of their last Messianic concerts and (testimony of the resurrection power of Yeshua), as they are getting extremely old and ill. To travel to Jerusalem is now hugely challenging, even by bus, as many of them are passing, sick, or don’t have the physical strength like in previous activities. Pray, pray, pray! Wishing you all wonderful prophetic Biblical holidays in Yeshua.

Thank you very much for your continued prayers and sacrificial support for this relevant Kingdom work!

Newsletter August 2021

August 2021 Rejoice in the Lord Always and Again I say Rejoice! Beloved of Messiah Yeshua (Jesus),  We cannot help but rejoice when that is all we have in these fast-paced and dark times we are living in. But we say rejoice because the more evil we see happening around us, the closer is the return of Yeshua. A wonderful scripture proclaiming His righteousness is Romans 1:18 which says, “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness.” Amen! Halleluyah, we are on God’s side! In Israel, the coronavirus restrictions are soaring, and life is getting more and more challenging for both the vaccinated and unvaccinated. However, God is on His throne and Abundant Bread of Salvation is a light tower shining amid the darkness, now more than ever. When people tell you, you can’t make a difference, they are simply wrong! Amazing Praise Report! This month, we served a single mom (who came to faith in Yeshua a couple of years ago through the work of Abundant Bread of Salvation). This same woman brought another single mother to our food distribution center this week for assistance. She is a new Jewish immigrant - only a couple of months in Israel. She walked in extremely sad, depressed, and hopeless with a great need for food and clothing for herself and her three young kids. Her husband abandoned her and the children and went back to Russia. We unconditionally received her because of her new immigrant, single mother status. We also gave her a double portion of food bags and toilet paper and offered clothing. Not only did this pragmatically bless her, but she was also blessed as we offered to pray for her and her extremely challenging situation. We explained to her the message of salvation and eternal hope we have in Yeshua and asked if she would like this hope. Without hesitation, she said "absolutely!" We then also explained that we are Jewish and that the only hope in this world is found in the Jewish Messiah, Yeshua. She said she is also Jewish and is so thankful to have this opportunity to know her eternal salvation, as she had never heard this before. She prayed with us and was filled with abundant joy! We Praise Yeshua for working through us as she left our facility, filled with eternal hope, salvation, and practical help. This is an eternal kingdom work, by you giving your biggest gift now you are literally sowing into the Kingdom of God. Click here to give Below pictures are eternal fruit that have come into the Kingdom! Halleluyah!     Revelation 7:10 happened right before our eyes which says, “And they cried out in a loud voice saying 'Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne and unto the Lamb.'” Praise Adonai! My friends, this is the type of hope and fruit that our world needs. His love is the greatest! We could not do this work and these simple acts of kindness that are changing Israel and the world for eternity without your prayers, encouragement, and financial support.  This a Kingdom work and a worthy cause that brings eternal fruit for His glory. We need your prayer covering! My wife and I are about to go on a special mission from Israel to the USA, traveling mostly in California and Oregon for ministry meetings to share about the work of Abundant Bread of Salvation, as well as visit my elderly and sick parents. Please pray for these divine visits with my earthly parents. We need your essential prayer covering, encouragement, and support as we venture out.  If you'd like to support this trip that is extra costly during these times, please CLICK HERE. This world is not the same; there are many obstacles and travel challenges just to do simple, normal tasks to promote the work of the ministry in Israel. If, you would like for us to come and speak to your congregation, ministry, radio or T.V. ministry, please text message me at: (213) 265-9796 or email me at brian@abundantbread.com. In closing, I want to ask for your prayers and protection over the children of Israel as summer ends in a couple of weeks. The children are faced with many ongoing government restrictions, masking, mandates, and pressures connected to the coronavirus. Mark 9:37 says, “Whoever welcomes one of these little children, in my name, welcomes me.”  His Kingdom come, His will be done. Amen! Thank you so much for your support and prayers. Time is of the essence!     Brian and the Abundant Bread of Salvation Team Brian Slater-CEO / Projects Manager Email Me at: Brian@AbundantBread.com
