Let’s Celebrate Together the Goodness of the Lord,

We open this praise and prayer letter with excitement because we have abundant gratefulness. I’m reminded of the scripture in Psalm 149:3 which says, “Let them praise His name with dancing and make music to Him with the Tambourine and Harp.” One of the many exciting things to celebrate that happened on August 9th was our wedding anniversary. Healthy relationships require hard work, and it is such a huge example of our relationship with Yeshua (Jesus). We need to know our Messiah personally and intimately as well as our spouses. Easier said than done with all the distractions, principalities, and powers of this world. However, Greater is He in us than he that is in this world.  Wedding Anniversaries are a reminder that we are one more year closer to the Wedding Supper of the Lamb, Yeshua. AMEN!

I gain much hope and encouragement from the prophetic kingdom scripture in Revelation 19:7-9. Please get excited with me, as it says, “Let us rejoice and exalt and give Him the glory for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His Bride has made herself ready. It was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure, for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints. Write this; blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb. These are the true words of God.” We hope this is an encouragement to all you who are faithful in our Lord! ABOVE: Our Future Vision, Our Future Ministry Home Abundant Bread of Salvation’s seven-member Board, our two part-time staff and local volunteers, for several years have had the vision to expand our ministry facilities, so we will be able to reach more of our people, both practically and spiritually, even double the amount. We have prayed and searched, when we had the time, for new ministry facilities (ideally a one level private home with large yard). We know His timing is perfect! As we continue this sincere search, would you please (if you are giving monthly) consider doubling your monthly donation or pray about an extra one-time donation towards this vision? We have hundreds of poor and needy people that are waiting for us to expand for them to receive the blessings we are freely giving to the already over four hundred people monthly. Please, we kindly ask you to step up with us for the Lord and His kingdom purposes. We sense the time is short and we desire to see many more of our people come to the knowledge of Messiah Yeshua. ABOVE Pictures: The Seasons of Life to Celebrate Momma Gail We all know that without our mothers, we would not be here. So, on that note I want to acknowledge my Jewish mother, Gail, who recently had her eighty-third birthday. Happy Birthday momma! She lives alone in a tiny rental apartment in Hollywood, California, and has several serious health challenges. Please, can I ask you all to put her on your prayer lists? She is precious and I love her so much. I wouldn’t be doing this Kingdom work if it wasn’t for her giving birth to me. Halleluyah! Thankfully she knows her Jewish Messiah Yeshua. Pictured Above: Our Faithful Employee for seven years, Valery Emergency Prayer request for healing: one of our main part time employees, Valery, working with us for seven years, recently had a stroke and I had to take him to the hospital where he stayed for seven nights. Thankfully, he is now at his home continuing his rehabilitation. Please, will you lift him up in prayer for a full restoration, recovery and return to normal life, and of course our hope is that he will be able to return to his vital role in helping the practical work of Abundant Bread of Salvation. We believe in the power of prayer! Please click HERE, to give towards any unexpected expenses for Valery and his recovery Food Bag Program Update: This month, we were extremely overwhelmed when on our food bag distribution day, which happens every Monday, we had an extra amount of poor and needy people show up on our doorstep to receive their food parcels. At least 140 people, almost double for that day, which took over six hours to process. There was much spiritual warfare, pushing and shoving and people lacking patience. It also was boiling hot outside. Thankfully, after prayer, giving many cups of water in Yeshua’s name and confronting in love those lacking patience, the peace of the Lord Yeshua ruled and reigned, and all these people were blessed and received their packs of food together with the love of God.   Click HERE: To be on the front line of giving towards the growing needs of the needy coming to freely receive their basic necessities. July 2023 Shalom To All You Freedom Fighters, What a wonderful month we have had here in Israel serving our Messiah and King Yeshua (Jesus). We are very excited to be able to share this report as your prayers and support are making a huge impact for the Kingdom. Let me first congratulate all Americans on their 4th of July Independence Day. This came with a huge price as did the independence of the State of Israel. I’m reminded of the scripture in Galatians 5:13 which states, “For you were called to freedom brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.” Wow, this scripture speaks loud and clear and especially against the mega agendas being shoved down our throats these last years and especially these last couple months. Please, take this scripture to heart and spirit focusing on issues of the Kingdom and serving others as we here at Abundant Bread of Salvation do faithfully together with you. May we always be dependent on Him more, so we will be free from our corruptible flesh. More and More of our Jewish people are coming to faith in Yeshua through our work. This is a result of our free acts of kindness and faithful generosity. During our weekly soup kitchen, we recently had the privilege of leading another one of our Holocaust survivors into a prayer of repentance and eternal life. Zoya was absolutely filled with joy in knowing that her eternal life is secure no matter what happens in this world. You may remember in last month’s prayer report, I asked for prayer for a spiritual awakening and revival amongst our people. Well, the fact that even one of the “least of these”, has come to a new relationship with the God of Israel is nothing short of a miracle. Halleluyah! Thank you for your continued prayers for her.   It is our heart to do home visits as often as possible, bringing the very presence of God and the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh) into the lives of our poor and needy and Holocaust survivors. Recently we, together with some precious friends and volunteers from the U.S.A., visited Gabi, a precious elderly Survivor who has literally adopted us in every way, besides legally. She tells this to us all the time and can’t wait for each visit, so we entered her home with a big bouquet of flowers and hugs. She was sitting in her recliner chair with an injured leg bandaged up and looking sad, but when we entered, a smile appeared on her face from ear to ear. She shared her struggles and loneliness and then quickly turned a corner when our friends started playing joyful Jewish music on the guitar. I quickly got up to take Gabi’s hand and she immediately got out of her sick chair and started dancing joyfully with me. After a few songs, we rested and had some refreshing drinks and snacks and then before leaving, I laid hands on her injured foot and prayed a prayer of healing over her. Gabi was refreshed, content, filled and resurrected from her depression as we departed. I praise Adonai for these visits each time as we never know when it will be the last. BELOW: Pictures of precious home visit bringing new life, new strength and joy to a precious lonely Holocaust survivor.   James 1:27- “True religion, to look after orphans” At the end of every school year, for many years, just as summer gets going, Abundant Bread of Salvation has the honor of purchasing over twenty suitcases. This is specifically for the Senior graduating High Schoolers from the local Ultra-Orthodox Jewish Girls Orphanage in Netanya. Even more, I’m invited to personally give these suitcases to the girls and lift my hands in prayer speaking a blessing over each one of them. Imagine, I’m the only man amongst over one hundred Orthodox girls in their auditorium. I’m convinced that the Lord has gone before me preparing my hands and feet to bring the Good News as spoken about in Isaiah 52:7, “How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, proclaiming shalom, bringing good things, announcing salvation, and saying to Zion, Your God is King!” GIVE TO THE ORPHANS: Please click HERE to give towards the orphan projects and orphan visits that bring changed lives and eternal life. Shalom and "Hey Mate," from the beautiful country of England!

 

I write you now from the beautiful country of Wales as well, where there was a huge revival called the Welsh Revival back in the years from 1859-1904. Oh, how we pray for a revival like this in the Nation of Israel as I’m sure you desire for your nation as you read this! Please pause from reading here, take a minute or more, and pray for a spiritual awakening and revival to happen with all the sacrificial and practical work of Abundant Bread of Salvation. The Lord had me on quite a journey, reaching out from Israel to England. I had several meetings, gatherings, and a conference sharing about the work of Abundant Bread of Salvation and praying over this British nation, that is also falling apart at the seams, spiritually, politically, economically, and, of course, morally. I was also able to visit and prayer walk through a very Jewish Orthodox neighborhood called Golders Green and go Israeli Folk dancing, bringing His presence into many of our Jewish peoples' lives there. Praise Adonai that I was able to be here and make an eternal impact for such a time as this! I love these incredible Scriptures in Romans 8:15-17, which say, “The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear rather the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. By Him we cry Abba Father. The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs of God and co-heirs with Messiah Yeshua (Jesus). Halleluyah!

 

Urgent Prayer Request for healing I share these above Scripture verses because they apply to all of us; however, I also have a very crucial prayer request for a beautiful, young, ten-year-old girl named Audrey.  Last month, I was able to personally visit her, together with her mother, in the hospital in Hollywood, California, after seeing a social media posting by my Messianic Jewish brother in Israel, friend and musician, Joshua Aaron, who had told of Audrey’s story. She has lymphoma cancer and is awaiting a bone marrow transplant, and, may I add, if the Lord wills it, that she and the Quiros Family are expecting a supernatural and complete healing in Yeshua’s name! Your prayers can make a difference for Audrey and for eternity as she loves Israel, our Jewish people and Yeshua. During my visit with Audrey and her precious mom, I was able to make her laugh, smile, give big hugs, pray, worship, and even do a solo messianic worship dance of intercession right there in her sterile room. The glory of the Lord was very present, as I was also able to bless, pray over, and encourage the nurses there. Can I please ask you to share this story and prayer request with your churches, fellowships, and prayer networks?  There is power in prayer in the Name of Yeshua!  PLEASE, click HERE, if you'd like to send me a prayer for Audrey or send a special gift to support us with special visits like this to the least of these, "precious children like Audrey". A Tribal Royalty Meal for Holocaust survivors This month, on top of all our regular weekly food bag distribution and soup kitchen activities to over four hundred poor and needy and Holocaust survivors, Abundant Bread of Salvation was able to have another victorious Royalty Meal with eight survivors along with a group of seven Native American Believers in Yeshua. The Riverwinds from FireKeepers International are Dr. Laralyn and Chief Joseph and they are filled with the spirit of love and reconciliation. They brought with them a small group of tribal delegates to join them in this most extraordinary and supernatural gathering in Netanya to simply say, “We love you and honor our elder survivor brothers and sisters in the name of Yeshua,” at a delightful restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. They blessed our people with a royal meal, sang songs with their native instruments and traditional dance wearing their regalia, all in the name of Yeshua. All this happened in the very center of the restaurant where others around were also able to see, hear, and feel the very presence of God as The Riverwinds and their guests poured their hearts out for our people. There appeared to be a pillar of fire with the love, grace, and forgiveness being poured out to our precious and very elderly Holocaust survivors. We are so grateful to be able to do events like this. All because of your prayers, financial support, and coming to volunteer your time, spiritual gifts and love.
