Newsletter February 2020

February 2020

To our Precious Mishpochah ("Family" in Hebrew),
How wonderful to be able to write to you about the continuous good news every month as we see the hand of the Lord, Yeshua, at work. Many would consider this month of February the month of love because of Valentine's Day. We consider every day, a day of love because of His love towards us and our Jewish People. He loved and still loves us first! It says in John 15:13, "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." He paid the price for me, personally. This month I celebrated my birthday. Little did I know that, as a young Jewish teenager, He would deliver me from my sin and I would come to know my Jewish Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) and have eternal life and live in Israel to reach my own people. Halleluyah! Glory to God! I thank God daily for the life He has given me to pour into the lives of our Jewish people in His eternal Jewish nation, for His name's sake!

We also celebrated another Jewish holiday called TuB'Shvat - the "New Year for the Trees" planted into the soil of Israel. Every year, people plant trees or pay for others to plant them. We were so blessed to be able to plant together with a bus-load of Holocaust survivors, widows and single mothers in the center of the biblical heartland. We at Abundant Bread of Salvation love sowing and reaping! 1 Corinthians 9:11, "If we sowed spiritual things in you, is it too much if we reap material things from you?"  May this be your heart and call to sow financially into this urgent Kingdom work!

Almost daily, we are working around the clock to invest in the lives of the elderly and Holocaust survivors as well as the orphans and widows. Speaking of orphans, this month we visited the orphanage, gave them new clothes, new shoes and a small financial gift. They were so grateful, however they told us about one (of many) great needs for finances which is for a field trip for over 80 orphaned girls. They want to take them to the Golan Heights to see the snow and they have no funds to cover the trip. The cost would be $5000 U.S. dollars! After praying, and by faith, I decided Abundant Bread of Salvation will cover half of the cost, but wishing we could do it all! They were extremely grateful! Please prayerfully consider how you could help with this and other trips like this for the poor, needy and lonely orphans and Survivors.
With your help, we can make an eternal impact.

Final exciting report! Recently, we had the first Royalty Banquet of 2020 with 100 Holocaust survivors together with a special group of believers from the beautiful Islands of Hawaii. On top of that, our dear friends and Spirit-filled, talented, Messianic musicians, Joshua Aaron and Aaron Shust agreed to do special music and share their testimonies for this event. They are such precious brothers that love our people, the Land of Israel and the eternal work we do! We were able to bless the survivors with such an elegant meal, get them up and dancing to the God of Israel and they even learned a native Hawaiian hula dance! They loved the celebration and laughed so much! Dear friends, this event brought a great testimony for our Messiah Yeshua from the nations as well as our local Israeli ABOS team, and it gave them an extraordinary and supernatural quality of life. Please pray that we would be able to have many more of these special events. Will you please stand with us in prayer and financial support before it is too late?  Our time here on earth is precious and urgent.
