April 2017
Shalom, in
the name of our Precious Lamb of God,
We just finished celebrating Passover, which was on April 10th.
Happy Passover to you, and YES, He has risen indeed!
We at Abundant Bread of Salvation are excited to bring you great
news that will cause great joy for all people! Many times you will hear
these words referring to the birth of the Jewish Messiah Yeshua (Jesus),
referred to in Luke 2. Here we are in the month of April 2017 and the
world remembers this same man that was born and from the town of David.
He celebrated the Passover, (known to many as the Last Supper) and he was to
be a sign to our people. That was an understatement, because what greater love can such a person have than
to give His life for his friends? He accomplished this through His death and resurrection
and is called, "The Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the
world." Halleluyah!
My dear friends, this is the greatest message of mercy and
compassion, all year round! With the work we do to bless
our Jewish people, it is a selfless and many times painful process to carry
the practical, emotional brokenness and spiritual burdens of the over 500
poor and needy people we serve monthly.
We'd
like to share about a couple very special Passover events with these precious
people, many of them elderly Holocaust Survivors.
We had a soup kitchen that was packed with needy people from
wall to wall serving them a delicious home-cooked meal. An
announcement was made, referring to Isaiah 53, about our precious Messiah
that was pierced for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities and by
His wounds we are healed and can have eternal peace through him.
Amen!
We also had a Royalty Meal-Chinese style, with Holocaust
Survivors and a special group of Amish believers. This was held in a
quality Chinese restaurant in Netanya. The Amish presented a
beautiful acapella rendition of the song, Amazing Grace, which was enjoyed by
our group and all the guests in the restaurant heard the Good News.
Praise Adonai!
Passover food packages given as a reminder of their
freedom and deliverance from Egypt.
Thanks to your support and prayers, we were able to supply every
family, new and old Ethiopian and Russian immigrants, orphans, single
mothers, widows, War Veterans, Holocaust survivors, a Bible based drug
rehabilitation center as well as native Israelis, with a bountiful food
package and Maztah (Unleavened Bread), for the Passover holiday. THANK
YOU!
Because of your sacrificial giving this month, we were also
able to take a mini-van filled with believers and Holocaust survivors on a
Biblical field trip
to Jerusalem. An amazing time was had by all for eternity. We
visited the EMPTY, Garden Tomb of Yeshua, The Mt. of Olives, hearing the
story of the Eastern Gate, as well as enjoying the breath taking panoramic
view of the Temple Mount and ancient Jewish Old City. Then, we took
them to a Royalty Lunch meal at an Arab-Israeli restaurant, where they were
physically blessed and loved on with His power, by our local
volunteers and a special group from America with Ezra Adventures.
Their lives
were changed forever because of your help. Halleluyah!
There is so much more I could say, however, let me end with
saying a special thank you from all the above-mentioned people for all your
prayers and continued support. Please, as you finish reading this,
will you stand to your feet and bow your head in remembrance with us, in
a special moment of silence and prayer for the millions of Jews who were
tortured and perished, for Holocaust Memorial Day on April 24th.
With all of our hearts and His heart working through us,
WE BLESS YOU!
