Greeting and Prayers for peace in Israel to you dear friend, As we write this letter it is with unbearable grief and pain like the pain of a woman giving birth, because of the war with Hamas that has transpired for over two weeks. As a matter of fact, as I write, our IDF- Israel Defense Forces planes are flying in front of the window of our home, racing to take out more terrorist targets where rockets come flying to kill and maim our Israeli citizen cities and innocent populations. I know you have read and heard plenty of news and numbers, so I won’t bore you with that. What I will share with you is how we, as a ministry, have been responding to these challenging times. Our ministry is actually and literally called, "For Such a Time as This." (Esther 4:14) When we first opened our ministry office doors to the public, it was in preparation for war. That was over 15 years ago. We even still have boxes with big signs on them saying, “War Preparation Materials and Supplies.” Well, we have now opened them up and dusted everything off or replaced what needed to be replaced, because the time is now, and the set time has come to comfort, comfort our people, says the Lord. CLICK HERE please, to give your emergency mode donation These are soldiers receiving Humanitarian -Aid Soldiers organising the Humanitarian Aid A huge part of the humanitarian work we do is with Holocaust survivors, and, as you know they have already gone through the worst of wars and massacres. Now, this current war with Hamas has been quoted as “in comparison, much greater than WWII”, right here in our Jewish homeland! I have a couple of amazing testimonies from our Holocaust survivors who survived WWII, one of them named Genya, who told me her feelings about what’s currently happening. “I have all kinds of horrible thoughts flooding through my mind from the Holocaust and now this horrible war with Hamas right here in the Jewish State of Israel.” Genya (almost 90 years old), tells me she, "walks and exercises every day on the boardwalk next to the Mediterranean Sea to take out her stress, together with her partner. We are determined and strong and we will have the victory; the Jews are here to stay. Because of your practical help, care, and prayers, Abundant Bread of Salvation is even stronger, Genya says. Here is another testimony from one of our weekly soup kitchens that continue as normal even four days into the war... When we arrived at this kitchen, some of the Holocaust survivors had collected 5000 shekels (almost $1400 U.S. dollars), to be given to the front-line soldiers to purchase much needed supplies they need for the battle. I was blown away as I saw this written on the envelope and given to the soldier representative that came to receive the money envelope just before we started the soup kitchen. At this soup kitchen, we invited a precious friend and worship leader as well as a professional ballet dancer to bring comfort and the Good News of Messiah Yeshua. The survivors were absolutely glowing with comfort and joy appreciating so much that we were doing this for them. They even had moments of getting up to dance! Imagine that, while a war is raging around us, Holocaust survivors are dancing and celebrating life! Since the beginning of this war situation, we are sending essential emergency aid to the soldiers surrounding Gaza as well as the northern boarders with Lebanon and Israel. There are whole Jewish towns and villages that have been temporarily evacuated to the center of Israel and Netanya was the largest city of evacuated people. Imagine, many of our Jewish people are now refugees in their Jewish homeland. We also want to reach these that have nothing. Our initial need is to raise $20,000 dollars to give EMERGENCY food and water aid as well as much needed essentials and equipment. Shalom from our beautiful Land of Israel,  If you are reading this prayer letter, that means that the Lord has more to accomplish through you on this earth as many people are proclaiming the soon coming of our Savior Yeshua (Jesus). Some of them are even saying it could be during the Biblical Fall Feasts happening this month! I must say, the signs are clear, the writing is on the wall, and there are dozens of prophecies in play today even as I write this prayer letter; prophecies that have either recently been fulfilled or are being fulfilled right before our eyes. Real examples are transhumanism, food shortages and restrictions, hyperinflation, famine, massive fires, huge earthquakes, bio digital ID’s, geoengineering (weather manipulation) and the current AI technology, just to name a few. Of course, let's not forget to mention the subject of viruses! What amazing and exciting, but challenging times we are living in! We have the hope of glory dear ones, and Abundant Bread of Salvation is on the cutting edge of bringing the Good News (in the most practical forms) and the message of eternal life. Amen! How awesome and comforting are the words in Matthew 24:33 which states, "When you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door.”

ABOVE: Picture of Valery for all your prayer support groups Continued need for healing! Valery (my main assistant), as reported in last month’s prayer letter, had a stroke. The update is that he is still not well enough to return to work and we are doing our best to carry his load. He was doing many tasks that only he knew how to do with his skills. Sadly, there are some things that are frustratingly out of my hands of being able to do. First, please pray for Valery’s full restoration and recovery as he turns 67 next month. Valery is very dear to us, so we are asking for focused prayer for his vision, his memory, his multi language skills and physical strength and stamina as he is currently not able to drive. He lives 90 minutes away from the office. Secondly, please pray for the Lord to raise up an additional qualified employee that loves the Lord, loves the work we do, and is a multi-talented multi-tasker and self-initiator. And, of course, prayer for the funds to pay for this part time salary. This month is one of the most holiest and prophetical months out of the whole year because of the Jewish Fall Feast holidays of Rosh HaShanah (Feast of Trumpets), Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) and The Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot). These are literally called the "holidays of rejoicing" (Moadiim L’Simchah). Those of us who personally know and have accepted our Messiah Yeshua, who gave His life as a ransom for our sin once-and-for-all so that we can have eternal life, really have something to rejoice in and have the eternal hope of glory! AMEN! This is what Abundant Bread of Salvation stands for and believes for the over 400 poor and needy Holocaust survivors, single mothers, widows, orphans, addicts, homeless and Jewish Immigrants that we serve faithfully every day. I could go on about how significant all these biblical feasts are in connection to what we do, but I’ll let you research that on your own. Biblical Feast Gifts-will you consider giving a gift of any size to pour into all the above people, the practical and spiritual blessings during and after these holidays. It’s "Soupernatural! "Here's an amazing praise report from one of our soup kitchens this month. As is every week, one of the many highlights of our ministry is operating weekly soup kitchens serving over 20 poor and needy people and Holocaust survivors and widows. One of these soup kitchens is simply a supernatural phenomenon! We witnessed testimonies from the recipients when we announced, as we always do, our desire to pray for any personal needs for any of the people. One lady shared that the last time we served them and prayed for her situation regarding her heart’s desire to see her daughter and husband become pregnant  that her daughter was finally pregnant after years of trying after we prayed for her! Everyone in the room roared with joy and awe and applause! Then, others in the room started raising their hands and asking us to please pray for their needs. As we served the five-course meal, people could not even wait until they were finished eating as they started lining up on their own for immediate prayer and we were able to see the hand of the Lord move, and lives changed for eternity. Glory Glory! Let’s Celebrate Together the Goodness of the Lord,

We open this praise and prayer letter with excitement because we have abundant gratefulness. I’m reminded of the scripture in Psalm 149:3 which says, “Let them praise His name with dancing and make music to Him with the Tambourine and Harp.” One of the many exciting things to celebrate that happened on August 9th was our wedding anniversary. Healthy relationships require hard work, and it is such a huge example of our relationship with Yeshua (Jesus). We need to know our Messiah personally and intimately as well as our spouses. Easier said than done with all the distractions, principalities, and powers of this world. However, Greater is He in us than he that is in this world.  Wedding Anniversaries are a reminder that we are one more year closer to the Wedding Supper of the Lamb, Yeshua. AMEN!

I gain much hope and encouragement from the prophetic kingdom scripture in Revelation 19:7-9. Please get excited with me, as it says, “Let us rejoice and exalt and give Him the glory for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His Bride has made herself ready. It was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure, for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints. Write this; blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb. These are the true words of God.” We hope this is an encouragement to all you who are faithful in our Lord! ABOVE Pictures: The Seasons of Life to Celebrate Momma Gail We all know that without our mothers, we would not be here. So, on that note I want to acknowledge my Jewish mother, Gail, who recently had her eighty-third birthday. Happy Birthday momma! She lives alone in a tiny rental apartment in Hollywood, California, and has several serious health challenges. Please, can I ask you all to put her on your prayer lists? She is precious and I love her so much. I wouldn’t be doing this Kingdom work if it wasn’t for her giving birth to me. Halleluyah! Thankfully she knows her Jewish Messiah Yeshua. Pictured Above: Our Faithful Employee for seven years, Valery Emergency Prayer request for healing: one of our main part time employees, Valery, working with us for seven years, recently had a stroke and I had to take him to the hospital where he stayed for seven nights. Thankfully, he is now at his home continuing his rehabilitation. Please, will you lift him up in prayer for a full restoration, recovery and return to normal life, and of course our hope is that he will be able to return to his vital role in helping the practical work of Abundant Bread of Salvation. We believe in the power of prayer! Please click HERE, to give towards any unexpected expenses for Valery and his recovery Food Bag Program Update: This month, we were extremely overwhelmed when on our food bag distribution day, which happens every Monday, we had an extra amount of poor and needy people show up on our doorstep to receive their food parcels. At least 140 people, almost double for that day, which took over six hours to process. There was much spiritual warfare, pushing and shoving and people lacking patience. It also was boiling hot outside. Thankfully, after prayer, giving many cups of water in Yeshua’s name and confronting in love those lacking patience, the peace of the Lord Yeshua ruled and reigned, and all these people were blessed and received their packs of food together with the love of God.   Click HERE: To be on the front line of giving towards the growing needs of the needy coming to freely receive their basic necessities.
