"Partnering with "Blessing Israeli Believers"

September 2025

The Feast of Tabernacles (Yom Teruah)...

...widely celebrated as Rosh Hashanah, is a sacred day marked by the sounding of the shofar, calling God’s people to repentance and reflection (Leviticus 23:23-25) and readiness for Yeshua’s coming reign (1 Corinthians 15:51-52). Beyond its theme of renewal and judgment, this is the day we celebrate God’s eternal covenant with Israel and the anticipation of the soon return of her messiah. What a glorious time to be serving in the Land!

Will you please consider your largest donation for this Jewish New Year, so we can continue to abundantly bless our people in Yeshua's name?! Amen!

It’s been a very exciting month here at ABOS! Let me just start by quoting Isaiah 62:1, “For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not be quiet, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a burning torch.” In keeping with our ministry name and our mission to bring salvation to the neediest here in Israel, we have decided to finally appropriately name our soup kitchen outreach, “The Royalty Kitchen!” While we wait for our King, we serve His people as though they are His royal heirs already, making them “hungry” for the promised messiah Yeshua, through an atmosphere of love and servitude and honor to them in His name.

$10, $100, $1,000, $10,000, $100,000 or more.

The Royalty Kitchen is staffed by volunteers who come from all over the world, some bringing live music that lifts our guests’ spirits. They sing, they dance (and even get our Holocaust survivors onto the dance floor!), they cook, and clean. They hand out warm food and even warmer hugs! They love like Yeshua, and it is well-received. 1 Peter 2:9 describes perfectly who we are and what our mission is: “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.”

Please come and help on the front lines, email us for a volunteer application: brian@abundantbread.com

One of our Royalty Kitchen events featured a dear volunteer named Claudia, a wonderful German Christian friend who plays healing worship that had quite an impact on one guest in particular. Claudia’s heart is so poured out through her music that we ask the Holocaust survivors to close their eyes and just listen and receive what God wants to do in their lives. This precious survivor, Genia, approached Claudia afterwards to express her feelings of love and healing that God poured into her life through Claudia’s music ministry! We were able to share with Genia that this is Yeshua’s healing power! Halleluyah!

Please will you support a soup kitchen or a month of soup kitchens? These are life changing gatherings filled with the love of God and really fulfilling tasty food they do not have the benefit of having. Click HERE!

Our Royalty Kitchen, on another occasion, was transformed when a talented jazz duo came to bless us! These two professional musicians really got the people’s hearts lifted and happy! The witness of Yeshua’s love didn’t just affect the audience, but it continued in the heart of this pre-believer pianist named Oriah, which means “God is my light.” As we shared the gospel with her, she was blown away with what we were doing at the Royalty Kitchen, the participation of the people there and the love shown in the name of Yeshua! It was a very special time for all!

Through all this joy, we are still reminded to pray for our remaining hostages’ safe return soon! We are also commanded to pray for our enemies, (Matthew 5:43-44), keep our IDF forces in prayer and continue the fight on our knees against global antisemitism. Please also keep our new elderly friend in prayer – she suffered a stroke and only has her daughter to care for her. We visited recently and brought food and toilet paper and have committed to see her every month. Because of your faithfulness, God has extended our ministry beyond our own walls, and out into the community where we are also needed and He is faithful!

As I mentioned in our last two newsletters, we are still on track with our desire to expand our operations with the purchase of a new facility. Please continue to pray for us and seriously consider sowing into this vision. Because of the war and the summer months, the process has been slowed, but we continue to trust the Lord as He declares in Proverbs 29:18, “Where there is no vision, the people perish…”

Please prayerfully consider giving your most generous gift toward this project.

Let’s continue to pray for salvation to come to the Land and its people soon, as promised in the scriptures. We are doing all we can, in obedience to His mandate, to facilitate that. Pray for God’s continued protection to surround us so that all Israel will become a shining light to the world. Likewise, we offer our prayers for you, our dear partners, for God’s abundance in your lives as you walk with and serve our King Yeshua. We cannot do this without you!
