Newsletter July 2019

July 2019

Arise and Shine Dear Supporter of Abundant Bread of Salvation!

We are now well into the summer heat and want to take this time to speak cool blessings upon you as you travel or enjoy some vacation time with family and friends. We, here at Abundant Bread of Salvation, work tirelessly year-round to bring the greatest impact possible to our poor and needy people, both in Word and with our practical deeds. James 1:27 says, "Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction and to keep oneself unstained from the world."

We consider our outreach to the orphans as one of the highest priorities in the work we do and so, this newsletter's main focus will be for these children and the facility that so amazingly cares for them and their spiritual needs. As the scripture states above, we are called as believers in Yeshua to become personally involved in the lives of these orphans in a tangible way in their distress. Abundant Bread of Salvation has been reaching out for years, visiting, bringing practical aid, and doing prayer walks with those that are willing to join us on location at the orphanage. Please come and volunteer with us and be involved in all the above activities and much, much more!

Please send an email today to: volunteer@abundantbread.com, to request your volunteer application. Psalm 102:13 says, "You will arise and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show favor to her as the set time has come."

Some of the practical things we have been able to do for the orphanages because of your financial help and prayers are as follows:
Y  Taking at least 80 orphan girls on a Biblical trip so see and experience their heartland in the Galilee. Absolutely life-changing!
Y  Purchasing new shoes on several occasions for all the orphans.
Y  Purchasing new clothes and suitcases for the older orphans to enable them to visit host families for Shabbat weekend.
Y  Purchasing school supplies and new bed sets for the new school year on several occasions as well as during the year supplies.
Y  Providing both new and used furniture to bless the hallways and bedrooms of the orphans.
Y  Providing shoeboxes filled with all kinds of practical surprise gifts, toys and hygienic products. Each one received individual boxes filled with different products.
Y  Taking personal time with believers to visit with them as well as bringing in special talent, music and ballet performances by believers. Absolutely life changing!

It says in Proverbs 31:8-9, "Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute. Judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy."
We are called to speak up for those who need an advocate. As an advocate, your donations and prayers can transform an orphan's future for eternity. Just think about that for a few seconds.

On one of our recent visits with a group of 20 Believers to the orphanage, the question was asked, "Can one of these precious ones be adopted?" The answer is YES! Your monthly financial gift can go towards supporting many of these precious ones. Please pray about the largest monthly gift you are able to sacrifice! Get your synagogue, church, family and friends involved so that these fragile orphans may see our good works and glorify our Father in Heaven.

Thank you ahead of time for your generosity, support, prayers, and for coming to volunteer to hold, hug and embrace one of these orphans.

Newsletter June 2019

June 2019
Shalom, Precious Ones of Abundant Bread of Salvation,

We want to take this time to bless you with good health and long life in Messiah Yeshua. It does say in Deuteronomy 5:33, "You shall walk in all the way which the Lord your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may be well with you and that you may prolong your days in the land which you will possess." On that note, we want to focus this newsletter on the expanding work of practically blessing our precious Holocaust survivors.
We have an urgent Kingdom matter that we must bring to your attention. As many of you know, a couple years ago, we started the Adopt-A-Holocaust Survivor program in order to personally connect believers in Yeshua (Jesus), and to be able to help them financially every month in paying for the most basic necessities (food, dental care, optical help, special help with the loss of hearing and more.) This vision started when over and over again the Survivors would come to me with requests and receipts that I just could not financially fulfill. It always saddened me and many times I would just drop to my knees and weep and pray for a miracle. Just as important in this vision is the urgency of reaching them with the Good News of our Messiah and see them come to salvation before it is too late! Acts 20:35 says, "In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Yeshua (Jesus), how He himself said, it is more blessed to give than to receive."
Please Adopt any of the above Survivors and others not shown here, today!
We are happy to say that we have monthly sponsors for many of them, however, we still have many dozens that have their personal profile marked as "no sponsor." We want to give you the opportunity to join this urgent vision and personally connect you with these precious souls. If the Holy Spirit is prompting your heart, please do not waste any time! Nearly every month, we are hearing of one or more of them passing on into eternity. The opportunity to reach them is now and we are doing our part here in Israel by physically reaching out to as many as we can.
Will you join us and "Adopt-A-Survivor" today? Just as important would be for you to share this urgent newsletter with your family and friends that care and pray for the salvation of Israel. Psalm 71:9 says, "Do not cast me off in the time of old age and do not forsake me when my strength fails me."
This news is so important to my team, thus our reason for dedicating this entire newsletter to the subject, plus we have made a special video for you to have an insider's view of adopting a Holocaust survivor. CLICK HERE, to view this new video clip on our website! Isaiah 46:4 says, "Even to your old age I am He and to gray hairs I will carry you. I have made, I will bear, I will carry and I will save." For instructions on how to adopt, visit our website at www.abundantbread.com, or call us at (213) 265-9796.
This month, we celebrate another Biblical Jewish holiday called Shavuot known as Pentecost when the Holy Spirit (Ruach Ha Kodesh), fell on the Jews in Jerusalem gathered from all the nations in Acts 2:1-4. It is also very significant because of the harvest, first fruits and the giving of the Torah. This same Holy Spirit is alive and active through the work of Abundant Bread of Salvation pouring out to our precious Holocaust survivors the hope of eternity. Thank you for standing with us to reap a fruitful harvest! To Him be the glory forever and ever amen!

Newsletter May 2019

May 2019

Shalom Dear Ones in Messiah Yeshua,

What a Mighty God we serve! Psalm 95:3 - "For the Lord is a Mighty God, a Mighty King over all gods."

Speaking of a Mighty God, in Israel and around the whole world, the Jewish people just finished celebrating one of the most miraculous Biblical holiday festivals on the calendar, Passover. Without this very Jewish Feast of Unleavened Bread, Christians would never have the very sacred ritual of what's known as the Lord's Supper or Communion. Any true follower of Messiah would be delighted to "remember their redemption that was paid by Him and do this in His memory," as He told us to do in Luke 22:19. If that doesn't resurrect your spirit and bring on the joy of the Lord, I'm not sure what will!

I was extremely blessed and honored to be able to celebrate the Passover meal with believers in the City of Gold, Jerusalem, where it all started with a group of twelve simple Jewish believers.

Speaking of gold, as you receive this newsletter, Israel will also be honoring and remembering Holocaust Memorial Day, of which every survivor is definitely of golden age. We at Abundant Bread of Salvation are honored to be able to bless these precious ones every week with all of our outreaches in the most practical ways, shining the golden light of our Messiah into the most dark and desperate places of the heart and soul.  Click here now to our Adopt-A-Holocaust Survivor Program, while you still can. Time is of the essence.

Thanks to your prayers and support, two more amazing breakthroughs happened this last month. One situation finally happened after legally requesting the status almost two years ago from our local city of Netanya and State of Israel office. We were granted a special non-profit discount on our monthly property taxes which are very high, where we pay rent for our distribution center. Here we give out over 400 food parcels monthly, have our weekly soup kitchen, and many other activities, as well as our international headquarters offices.

The second divine occurrence was that Abundant Bread of Salvation has been granted a special high honor status of being a grafted in member of The Veteran's Union of World War II Fighters Against Nazism. The local leader of this organization gave us a special membership card also thanking us for the great practical work we are doing amongst the Veterans and Handicapped Veterans, making their last years more bearable with the food, clothes and special Biblical trips we do with them and most importantly, the unconditional and eternal love that we pour out upon them.

Please rejoice with us in these two incredible breakthrough situations. Because of your support and prayers, their lives are being changed for eternity! Praise Adonai!

As we end this letter, I want to focus on one of the greatest prophetical Biblical miracles recorded in history. We are living in amazing times dwelling right in the epicenter of the world.
This month we celebrate the re-birth of the State of Israel's 71st birthday. Twenty-four hours before this national celebration, Israel will be mourning it's great and mighty soldiers that have lost their lives or were injured in securing this land in all of its wars and battles until today. Then, what's known as Yom HaAztmaut, or Israeli Independence Day, every Israeli citizen will rejoice in its many fire works celebrations, doing BBQ's and also seeing a special national air show of Israeli air crafts. Flags will be flying high as well as on most cars and buildings all over Israel. Happy Birthday Israel!

Please take this opportunity to pray for Israel, her salvation and of course Abundant Bread of Salvation and rejoice in the fulfilled verses of Isaiah 66:8 - "Can a country be born in a day or a nation be brought forth in a moment?" Please also read the amazing fulfillment of Ezekiel 37: 21 and 22.

Shalom forever and ever in our Eternal Jewish Messiah-Yeshua!  Will you proclaim with us, "For Zion's sake, I WILL NOT KEEP SILENT!"

Newsletter March 2019

March 2019
Below is an Ancient Scroll called the Meggilat Esther,
read during the holiday of Purim from the Book of Ruth.
"And Who Knows But That You Have Come
To Your Royal Position,
For Such a Time As This?
 Esther 4:14

To All you Royal Ones of Messiah,

We are excited to open this prayer letter with the joy of our salvation as we serve Him on the front line! We are always reminded of the warfare that we are battling. This warfare consists of Israel's daily existence, the work of Abundant Bread of Salvation and it's team, the continuous prayers and financial support needed from you and our great heart's desire to see the eternal hope and salvation of our Jewish people. The Book of Esther and the holiday of Purim is a great example of many of the above reminders. We, as a ministry, literally take this verse, Esther 4:14, to heart each time we walk in or out of our offices to serve our poor and needy people and Holocaust survivors. Happy Purim and thank you for standing with us!

First of all, the most exciting news and praise report: since writing last month's prayer letter, we have seen four more of our Jewish people come into the Kingdom, even as recently as last week. A young, single mother prayed with us to accept her Messiah as Saviour! Halleluyah! She has a little boy with severe developmental challenges that we assist however we can. Please keep all these new believers in your prayers. Praise God for this amazing fruit!

The above news happened in our distribution center in Netanya where we continue to give away over 400 packets of food filled with 25 products. Weekly, we see the most amazing things happen. First of all, with smiles and joy, we are thankful to just to be able to receive such simple food packets and give them away in a manner that manifests the clear and tangible love of God that brings hope, smiles and many times, requests for prayer that bring them the joy of their eternal salvation. It is not always easy to manifest the fruits of the spirit when people are desperate, depressed, rude, pushy, and tell us we owe them! So, yes, the joy of the Lord is our strength and this is where your prayers help incredibly! Praise Adonai!

We continue our weekly soup kitchen, serving at least 40 people a rich, home-cooked, five course, sit down meal. These delicious meals are served by our volunteer team with the greatest love of all talked about in 1 Corinthians 13, "and the greatest of these is LOVE".  Many times we have music and the people jump out of their seats and dance in exuberant joy, forgetting about all their problems. We praise our God for this continual opportunity to comfort our people in the most practical ways with food for the body and food for the soul. Know that you are investing in a work that is priceless and eternal. This is only made possible because of every sacrificial prayer and gift given by you! Thank you - Todah Robah!

Abundant Bread of Salvation, was honored again by an employee of the City of Netanya that often volunteers with us. This week in my office, I was given a very special certificate and gold medallion. This Certificate was given through the highest State of Israel's Security Office to honor the practical work of our hands in what we do to help part of the 1,500,000 elderly Jewish Veterans that fought against the German Nazis during the Second World War, (1939-1945). With tears, I am humbled as I give glory to our Messiah and I'm so honored to serve Him, the Nation of Israel and the Jewish people, "for such a time as this!" Glory, Glory Glory!

Again, we thank you for you prayers, financial support and "who knows that you also may have come to your royal position?"
