Shalom Dear Ones in Messiah Yeshua,

This month, August, is an amazing time of rejoicing and new beginnings. Sometimes having a fresh start comes with its challenges, however, when you know and see the hand of the Lord Yeshua moving with great favor, it is quite encouraging to our faith and walk with Him. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways submit to Him and He will make your paths straight."

We recently had our annual board meeting which consists of seven faithful, supportive and praying members. Together, we represent native Israelis, American Jews and Ethiopian Jews. They are all strong believers, intercessors, world-renowned Messianic musicians, local Israeli congregational leaders and Biblical Hebrew teachers. I am very proud to have such a team that stands with the vision and future of Abundant Bread of Salvation in practical prayer, encouragement, and support (both in spiritual and financial accountability.) This enables us to always have integrity and the official approval and certification from the Israeli government of non-profits.

It was mentioned in our board meeting of the great need for physically expanding the size and location of our crowded office and outreach headquarters. Our current location has very challenging limitations, namely, our weekly soup kitchen that is packed wall-to-wall with various, necessary items. Many times we must turn people away because of lack of space. Secondly, we have to cook and prepare all our meals off-site because of lack of a professional kitchen to be able to cook such elegant meals for our precious poor and needy people and Holocaust survivors. All the dry food that we prepare bags for over 400 people every month many times lie in the middle of the isle walkway disturbing our regular flow of operation. Our clothes racks and shelves must be kept on the sides and moved each week for proper free distribution and the tables and chairs need to be set up and taken down because of the multiple purposes of our outreach center.

However...A wonderful miracle has happened for you to participate in! We are also happy to announce that we were able to expand the distribution of furniture and clothes to the poor and needy in a most unusual way. Because we were recently forced to move our humanitarian, 40-foot container, the new location is actually much lower costing than the previous location, which allows us to expand more support to the poor, needy and Holocaust survivors. Glory to God indeed!

Sometimes we wonder, are we doing the right thing? We are then forced to be on bended knee, acknowledging the God we serve, that He is our provider!
