Shalom Precious Chosen Ones,

 

This month in the United States of America, they had elections. In Israel and actually in several other countries, they had elections as well. Why is this important? Because God raises up leaders and takes down leaders for His perfect plan and purposes. None of us will ever one hundred percent agree about who are the best leaders; however what is most important is that we know and agree on who is The One, Yeshua (Jesus), who was raised from the dead in order to bring eternal life to this dark world.

Please let’s take a moment to pray for our leaders and especially Israel’s leaders, because what happens in Israel will prophetically affect the rest of the world. Our trust is always in the Lord.

A scripture that comes to mind to encourage you is John 15:16 “You did not choose Me but I chose you and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you.” AMEN!

Here at Abundant Bread of Salvation, we have officially started our winter soup kitchen which includes a hearty homemade soup alongside our five star abundant meal. Not only is this a physical weekly provision, but we also bring forth The Bread of Life and share about His great and eternal love for our Jewish people. Praying hands that bring healing to the physical and spiritual side. Anointed with oil. At this week’s soup kitchen, it was brought to our attention that one of the elderly ladies was undergoing active treatment for cancer and that she would like us to pray for her. Our staff and volunteers were called to the task and gave her a personal confidential space where we could lift her up in prayer holding hands and letting the Ruach Ha Kodesh (The Holy Spirit), do His healing work through us. Not only was she encouraged, but she received His healing love.

A woman named Genya also recently received Yeshua as her Messiah in our distribution center acknowledging her faith for Him to heal her. Just this one instance makes all our efforts worth it, but I’m happy to say that we have similar occurrences on a weekly basis.

I often think that without the support and prayers of people like yourself we would not be able to do such a work on this level, practically and spiritually assisting over 400 people on a monthly basis. Thank you so much! Serious situation for prayer. Please, pray for our precious Jewish brother in Yeshua named David. He is a friend and faithful servant of our team for many years that has recently gone through two invasive heart procedures called, Cardiac Catheterization. He needs prayer for full healing, peace and encouragement. His desire is to be back serving with us, but he needs to rest and recover for a couple months. He must not lift, so we must trust that the Lord will provide other faithful hands to pack our food bags for hundreds of our poor and needy people and Holocaust survivors. Come volunteer if your led by the Lord.

Dear Friends,

"Behold how good and pleasant it is to gather together in unity." (Psalm 133:1)

We have just passed through what’s called, The Days of Awe, otherwise known as The Day of Atonement or Yom Kippur, when millions of our Jewish people worldwide pack the prayer houses (synagogues), to repent and ask God (Elohim), to forgive them of their sins. Thankfully, we as Messianic Jews and Christians worldwide know that our atonement only comes through the atoning blood of Yeshua (Jesus.) Halleluyah! "By this we know that our names are written in The Lambs Book of Life," as mentioned in the book of Revelation (13:8).

A song that I always loved by a Messianic musician named Joel Chernoff is called "The Sacrifice Lamb.” The lyrics hit it right on the nose regarding Yom Kippur as Yeshua's death upon the tree took our sin away once and for all. In the lyrics, it says “Have you ever heard Messiah has come? It says in His word to cleanse everyone. Atonement He made iniquity bore. That we can find life with Him evermore. The Sacrifice Lamb has been slain His blood on the altar a stain. To wipe away guilt and pain. To bring hope eternal. Salvation has come to the world, God’s only Son to the world, Jesus the One for the world, Yeshua is He." How awesome is that! Amen! Within days after Yom Kippur, we celebrate The Feast of Tabernacles, known as Sukkot in Hebrew. Yeshua, Himself, celebrated this biblical feast as mentioned in John 7:2. I love how the emphasis of Sukkot is to dwell in a temporary booth (a sukkah) for seven nights, invite guests, foreigners and have festive meals proclaiming the words in Hebrew, Zman Simchatanu (the times of rejoicing). He is Emmanuel; God who always dwells with us. Now that is comforting!

This year, I had the opportunity to help build a sukkah with a church called Calvary Chapel in Ojai, California, and then, several days later, a group of six from this very church flew to Israel and helped to build our sukkah in the yard of our home! It was a beautiful biblical exchange! This month, for three weeks I traveled to Los Angeles (The City of Angels), which is where I was born. There, I was invited to speak about the work of Abundant Bread of Salvation in many locations as well and have precious visits with my elderly and sick, earthly parents. Please continue to pray for my father and mother, Frank and Gail. Thankfully, they have come to faith in Yeshua like me and we will all be in eternity together. An additional special occasion was to celebrate my Abba father, Frank's, 86th birthday together. Precious time with eternal memories! Back in Israel, my amazing team has been keeping all the activities going with the food bag program serving over four hundred people monthly, as well as a Royalty Meal with Holocaust survivors together with our group of friends from Calvary Chapel, Ojai. They also did a worship concert for the survivors. We cannot do these works without our faithful team as well as volunteer groups that come to pour out their hearts to our Jewish people for this mighty kingdom work for Yeshua. Remember, when you give to or pray for us, you must realize that this is for His glory, and it is an eternal investment that will not be wasted.
