On many fronts – Iran, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen for starters – we must defend our nation and trust the Lord for His deliverance. Amen! Peace agreements or not, HE has our backs! “He only is my rock and my salvation: He is my defense; I shall not be moved.” (Psalm 62:6) We plan to be making a $50,000 purchase of life-saving battlefield special missions tactical gear for our homeland warriors (The IDF). Will you consider getting into this boat with us and seeing it through to the other side with your generosity? You can never out-give God, especially when protecting Zion as “watchmen” on the walls! Through rumors of peace on the horizon, and the realities of no peace on the ground, we will stand firm, watch with vigilance, and continue to serve souls here. Our precious Valentina (a big part of our team for many years), has also become ill and has stepped down from her duties at ABOS. As you pray for this dear one, pray for the Lord to draw others locally and from the nations to serve here. We trust He has the right people in mind for He reminds us in Psalm 103:2-3, “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases.” We also know where God guides, He provides. This year and especially this month the United States celebrates its 250th anniversary and we here in Israel rejoice for the God-ordained creation of a most amazing nation! There is a deep connection of the Jewish people to the formation of the Republic with profound contributions to the establishment of the governmental system there, and the godly documents created, based on biblical principles found in the Torah. Men like Haym Salomon, a Polish Jewish immigrant who was a major financier of the Revolutionary War, Francis Salvador, a South Carolina plantation owner and the first Jewish person to be elected to a colonial legislature – killed in 1776 fighting loyalists, and Mordecai Sheftall, who served as a colonel and was the highest-ranking Jewish officer in the Continental Army. These patriots and more helped create a country that would evolve as a beacon of freedom around the world! So, Happy Semiquincentennial, America! God shed His grace on thee! Happy 4th of July! |
We continue to do our weekly Royalty Meals this month, with a very special one, specifically, at the Hotel Orit where a precious Holocaust survivor came in as a seeker and left as a believer! Halleluyah! We’re rejoicing knowing that God uses Abundant Bread of Salvation (ABOS) to feed, clothe and pray for all who come, and this outreach is made possible by God through YOU! It’s all in the name of Yeshua (Jesus) and it’s exciting to watch them come to our events with not only open hands to receive, but open hearts and minds as well. You may not realize this, but there are many Ethiopian Jews here and one local Messianic Jewish congregation of Believers in Yeshua, that ABOS partners with. Through our efforts, we can feed 30 families monthly there! God sees no color or cultural distinctions when it comes to benevolence and neither do we! Please help us to help these precious Ethiopian believers who stand up for their faith to proclaim Yeshua (Jesus), as Messiah to their own community! Click HERE to give. |
We continue to have the great privilege of serving over 400 souls through our food bag program each month. The people are receiving over 25 food products in those bags as we build relationship with them. We pray for them as we hand out free clothes and household items as well. Food is the biggest expense here at ABOS, which is also our greatest blessing – to see lives changed practically and for eternity through YOUR generosity! Thank you for your faithfulness! |

IDF Fundraising update: Our campaign continues here for one of the Special Ops IDF units and other IDF Soldiers that are Believers in Yeshua. Our goal to raise $50,000 for head gear, communication devices, energy powder and special protein energy food is moving forward. Although the battle belongs to the Lord (1 Samuel 17:47), we still need to meet their physical needs.
