Newsletter October 2019

October 2019 Shalom, Dear Ones of The Sacrificed Lamb, Yeshua! We are living in some very significant times. This month, our Jewish people as well as many believers in Yeshua (Jesus) that understand the biblical feasts know that the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur), as well as Sukkot (the Feast of Tabernacles), are some of the most significant, prophetic and holy holidays. There are so many scriptural types and shadows of how Yeshua fulfills these very biblical and times and seasons. As mentioned in reference to the Day of Atonement, Hebrews 9:7 says, "But only the high priest entered the inner room and that only once a year and never with blood, which he offered for himself and for the sins the people had committed in ignorance." In reference to the Feast of Tabernacles, Yeshua Himself tabernacled among us in the flesh as He chose to be born in a less-than-glorious and lowly place. Not only that, as a young Jewish man, he deliberately took the Festival of Sukkot and spoke about himself as accounted in the book of John 7:37-38, and said "If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living waters." How awesome and how cool is that, my friends?! This is what Abundant Bread of Salvation is all about in serving and providing for our Jewish people in the most practical forms that will not only give physical life, but also give rivers of living waters to their souls. Hallelujah! Can you feel my excitement? PLEASE, click here to give your largest gift that will definitely bring physical life, which will lead to rivers of Living Waters to their souls.  www.abundantbread.com  On top of our regular weekly activities of soup kitchen and food bag distribution center, this month many other activities have been set up that are bringing blessing and newness of life to our poor and needy people as well as Holocaust survivors, single mothers and widows. We built a Sukkah (Tabernacle), in the back yard of our home and for the second year in a row, we were able to bring a busload of Holocaust survivors into this temporary dwelling place, giving them refreshing drinks, fruits and vegetables and explaining to them the blessings of each day of life God gives us, our health, as well as the infilling of the Ruach Ha Kodesh (the Holy Spirit.) We then got back on the bus and brought them for a couple hours drive to the Sea of Galilee on the Jordan River to a Sukkot BBQ experience which had live worship music by International Messianic Music artist Joshua Aaron. It was glorious, but also had much spiritual warfare. One of the Holocaust Survivors almost passed out! This is why we always need your prayers.  They are getting old and passing on quickly right before our eyes.  Please click here to give your urgent gift while you can.  Every day is fragile with these dear ones. We also recently brought a busload of Holocaust survivors up to Jerusalem to experience the world premier of a biblical musical of the Book of Daniel, which had topnotch actors and singers from Africa and America. The survivors' responses were far beyond my expectations, asking how they can know more about the Book of Daniel! One of our local Russian Jewish volunteers has a weekly Bible study that many of them said "they would like to come and learn more of the miracles of God that happened in the story of Daniel." Please pray that their eyes and hearts are open to His Good News of salvation.   Click here to learn how to Adopt-A-Holocaust Survivor. There is so much more that has happened this month that I cannot even fit on another page, but upon ending this letter, I want to praise the Lord for two more amazing Royalty Meals that happened with Holocaust survivors. One was with a dear friend and pastor of ours from Hawaii and his group of thirty and their forty Holocaust survivor guests! It was like tropical, living waters and breathing new life into these dry bones! We also had a special meeting with Rosemary Schindler honoring our survivors at a historical, British Jewish prison camp called Atlit and then a meal overlooking the beautiful, ancient Cesarean port. Thank God this camp is closed and only a memory of the past that us Jews struggled to make this Promised Land what it is today; a true world changing miracle! Thank you for your continued prayers and your support! Only because of this we can continue this work of bringing eternity in the most tangible form.  Click HERE, to give your most tangible gift for eternity! www.abundantbread.com Glory to His name! Yom Kippur Scripture Meditations

October 2019 Abundant Atoning Blessings from Abundant Bread of Salvation: Yom Kippur Scripture Meditations: Yom Kippur is a solemn day when Jewish people reflect on their sin from the past year. They come humbly before God seeking forgiveness and His favorable “sealing” for the coming year. Messianic Jews understand that Yeshua (Jesus) is our perfect high priest who sacrificed His own blood and took it into the heavenly Holy of Holies on our behalf. With His blood, He made complete atonement for us. Here are some Scriptures to help as you worship God on Yom Kippur. May your day be filled with humility, genuine repentance, gratitude and awe. Yeshua, your atonement The Jewish roots of the New Covenant come alive in Hebrews chapters 7–10 as they reveal how Yeshua is our high priest, sacrifice and atonement. Consider what your sin cost Yeshua * He humbled Himself to save you – Philippians 2:5–8 * He suffered fear, anguish and pain for you – Luke 22:41–44. Luke 22:63–65, Isaiah 53 * He was scarred more than any man – Isaiah 52:14 * He willingly gave His life “for the joy set before Him”: your reconciliation to God – Hebrews 12:1–3 Meditate on what YESHUA/Jesus’ sacrifice acquired for you * Eternal life – John 3:16, 10:28 * Abundant life – John 10:10 * Peace with God – Romans 5:1 * Redemption – Ephesians 1:7–8 * Atonement – 1 John 2:2, 4:10 * The righteousness of God – 2 Corinthians 5:21 * You are a child of God – John 1:12 * You are a new creation – 2 Corinthians 5:17 * You cannot be separated from God’s love – Romans 8:35 * You are sealed for eternity in God – 2 Corinthians 1:21–22, Ephesians 1:13–14 * There is no longer any condemnation for you – Romans 8:1 Reflect on what Yeshua does for you * He never leaves you – Matthew 28:20 * He intercedes for you – Hebrews 7:25 * He empowers and strengthens you – Philippians 4:13 * He heals you – 1 Peter 2:23–24, Isaiah 53:5 * He helps you when you are tested – Hebrews 2:18 May you have a sacred and holy Yom Kippur. Brian and the Abundant Bread of Salvation Team Thank you for your prayers for the eyes of our Jewish People to be opened as we daily serve them here in Israel. www.abundantbread.com Brian@abundantbread.com

Newsletter September 2019

September 2019 To all our Precious friends in Messiah Yeshua, We want to start this praise report news letter first, by blessing you with His Word, even as He is the Living Word. Read and proclaim this verse aloud personally for yourself. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah  29:11. And with this above scripture verse, is my very personal life testimony of His faithfulness that I will now share with you.  I was raised in a traditional but non-religious Jewish family in the San Fernando Valley in California. Before reaching my teens, I fell into a deceptive life of drug and alcohol abuse. As I reached the end of high school, God miraculously rescued me out of darkness to begin my new life of recovery and spiritual discovery with the Messiah Yeshua-(Jesus), in 1987. Incidentally or shall we say by divine appointment, as a result of my new faith, I felt called to reach out to those with similar afflictions and poverty, getting my certification as a drug and alcohol counselor as well my Psychiatric Nursing License. Glory to God in the highest for this testimony!  Brian's past life as a teen. Now saved by His grace!  On top of serving over 400 poor and needy people and Holocaust Survivors in our weekly Food Bag Distribution Center, Soup Kitchen, Humanitarian Biblical Trips, Spirit Filled Concerts and Orphanages, we also have a healthy relationship and outreach to a local Bible based Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Center in Netanya. We provide monthly food for this rehab. center, plus clothes, shoes and Biblical counselling and teaching as needed. We are always amazed at the awesome testimonies that come from these once homeless and forgotten, that struggle with addictions and praise our Great Healer, when we see smiles upon their faces because of being set free, many coming straight out of years of being in prison. Hallelujah! CLICK HERE, to support and pray for our work and outreach to the broken and addicted in Yeshua's name!        Please pray today for all the Israeli Drug Addicts and Alcoholics and for their salvation as we reach them with His love! Yeshua Loves to Redeem His Children 2nd Corinthians 5:17 says, "Therefore, if anyone is in Messiah, he is a new creation. The old has passed away and behold, the new has come." Please, help us to reach more of these precious homeless souls living with out hope, before it is too late! I am very happy to share an update regarding the Matching Grant Giving Opportunity. First of all, I want to thank all of you who gave into the Matching Grant to double your funds for July. We almost raised up to the half way mark of $50,000 for July. Our generous donor was so encouraged that he granted Abundant Bread of Salvation an extra 30 days for everyone to be able to give into this double your impact opportunity to reach over and beyond the $50,000 goal. So, please act now to be able to sow abundantly into this amazing opportunity, "For Such a time as this!" Click Here, to DOUBLE your impact gift and make it a GREAT New and Sweet Jewish Year! As we prepare to end this prayer and update letter, there are two more exciting things about to take place. One is that all of Israel's beautiful children are officially back to school starting September 1st. This is our future generation that also need the love of Messiah so much. Please pray for them as they do their utmost under a ton of peer pressure and fear of war in some areas. Secondly, as you read this, The Jewish New Year, 5780 (Rosh Ha Shanah), is upon us.  Happy Jewish New Year! Hag Sameach! How amazing that we can celebrate this fresh start by praying for our Jewish People and the work and impact of Abundant Bread of Salvation and see eternal results and fruit right before our eyes. Amen! Abundant thanks and todah, for all your prayers and for your Double Impact Matching Grant gifts today. Newsletter August 2019

Read below how you can double your blessing!

August 2019 Shalom Dear Ones in Messiah Yeshua, This month, August, is an amazing time of rejoicing and new beginnings.  Sometimes having a fresh start comes with its challenges, however, when you know and see the hand of the Lord Yeshua moving with great favor, it is quite encouraging to our faith and walk with Him. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart and lean not on your own understanding.  In all your ways submit to Him and He will make your paths straight." We recently had our annual board meeting which consists of seven faithful, supportive and praying members.  Together, we represent native Israelis, American Jews and Ethiopian Jews.  They are all strong believers, intercessors, world-renowned Messianic musicians, local Israeli congregational leaders and Biblical Hebrew teachers.  I am very proud to have such a team that stands with the vision and future of Abundant Bread of Salvation in practical prayer, encouragement, and support (both in spiritual and financial accountability.)  This enables us to always have integrity and the official approval and certification from the Israeli government of non-profits.  It was mentioned in our board meeting of the great need for physically expanding the size and location of our crowded office and outreach headquarters.  Our current location has very challenging limitations, namely, our weekly soup kitchen that is packed wall-to-wall with various, necessary items. Many times we must turn people away because of lack of space.  Secondly, we have to cook and prepare all our meals off-site because of lack of a professional kitchen to be able to cook such elegant meals for our precious poor and needy people and Holocaust survivors.  All the dry food that we prepare bags for over 400 people every month many times lie in the middle of the isle walkway disturbing our regular flow of operation.  Our clothes racks and shelves must be kept on the sides and moved each week for proper free distribution and the tables and chairs need to be set up and taken down because of the multiple purposes of our outreach center. However...A wonderful miracle has happened for you to participate in! Shortly after explaining to our board about the great need for expansion, we had a donor step up and share that they are willing to do a Matching Grant Giving Opportunity!  This donor stated that they are "willing to match every dollar donated," which would double the impact of your gift, for the next 30 days!  This means that if you give $25 dollars it would instantly turn into $50 and if you give $100 it would instantly turn into $200 and a $1000 would turn into $2000, etc.!  This generous donor is willing to match every dollar up to $50,000 for your donation today!   Please take advantage of this opportunity to double your impact today! Click HERE! We are also happy to announce that we were able to expand the distribution of furniture and clothes to the poor and needy in a most unusual way. Because we were recently forced to move our humanitarian, 40-foot container, the new location is actually much lower costing than the previous location, which allows us to expand more support to the poor, needy and Holocaust survivors.  Glory to God indeed!   New Container Location in Netanya_ Sometimes we wonder, are we doing the right thing?  We are then forced to be on bended knee, acknowledging the God we serve, that He is our provider! Act now, so our generous donor will match your donation dollar-for-dollar until the 31st of August.  Please do not let this generous matching donation slip away! These matching gift funds will be specifically used for our Adopt-A-Holocaust Survivor program, Adopt-an-Orphan program and also be able to expand our tent pegs making more room to share the Good News to the most needy Jewish people in Israel.  They will be so blessed through Abundant Bread of Salvation because of you!  Click HERE, to give your biggest double-impact gift now. The Word of God must be proclaimed here in Luke 6:38, which says, "Give and it will be given to you.  A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and flowing over, will be poured into your lap.  For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." Thank you for your prayers and support.  You are His hands and feet helping to bring the Good News of Messiah in the darkest places. We are now well into the summer heat and want to take this time to speak cool blessings upon you as you travel or enjoy some vacation time with family and friends. We, here at Abundant Bread of Salvation, work tirelessly year-round to bring the greatest impact possible to our poor and needy people, both in Word and with our practical deeds. James 1:27 says, "Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction and to keep oneself unstained from the world." We consider our outreach to the orphans as one of the highest priorities in the work we do and so, this newsletter's main focus will be for these children and the facility that so amazingly cares for them and their spiritual needs. As the scripture states above, we are called as believers in Yeshua to become personally involved in the lives of these orphans in a tangible way in their distress. Abundant Bread of Salvation has been reaching out for years, visiting, bringing practical aid, and doing prayer walks with those that are willing to join us on location at the orphanage. Please come and volunteer with us and be involved in all the above activities and much, much more! Please send an email today to: volunteer@abundantbread.com, to request your volunteer application. Psalm 102:13 says, "You will arise and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show favor to her as the set time has come." Some of the practical things we have been able to do for the orphanages because of your financial help and prayers are as follows: Y  Taking at least 80 orphan girls on a Biblical trip so see and experience their heartland in the Galilee. Absolutely life-changing! Y  Purchasing new shoes on several occasions for all the orphans. Y  Purchasing new clothes and suitcases for the older orphans to enable them to visit host families for Shabbat weekend. Y  Purchasing school supplies and new bed sets for the new school year on several occasions as well as during the year supplies. Y  Providing both new and used furniture to bless the hallways and bedrooms of the orphans. Y  Providing shoeboxes filled with all kinds of practical surprise gifts, toys and hygienic products. Each one received individual boxes filled with different products. Y  Taking personal time with believers to visit with them as well as bringing in special talent, music and ballet performances by believers. Absolutely life changing! It says in Proverbs 31:8-9, "Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute. Judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy." We are called to speak up for those who need an advocate. As an advocate, your donations and prayers can transform an orphan's future for eternity. Just think about that for a few seconds. PLEASE click HERE, to give your largest donation,  which will help to change hundreds of orphans lives for eternity. On one of our recent visits with a group of 20 Believers to the orphanage, the question was asked, "Can one of these precious ones be adopted?" The answer is YES! Your monthly financial gift can go towards supporting many of these precious ones. Please pray about the largest monthly gift you are able to sacrifice! Get your synagogue, church, family and friends involved so that these fragile orphans may see our good works and glorify our Father in Heaven. Thank you ahead of time for your generosity, support, prayers, and for coming to volunteer to hold, hug and embrace one of these orphans.
