Dear Friends in Yeshua,

Because of this kingdom friendship, we have friendship with each other! Some in prayer, some in financial support, some in volunteering from near and far, and for many of you, all of the above! Most importantly is our friendship through Yeshua (Jesus); because of this we live, move, and have our being as it’s written in Acts 17:28.

As I write this letter, we are quickly coming to the end of summer. Most people in Israel that we interact with, have a sense of uncertainty and what will be for their futures. For such a time as this, Abundant Bread of Salvation is a strong tower that continues to fulfill their practical needs as well as the Good News and hope for the future. On my heart for both you and our Jewish people is the verse in Malachi 4:2, “But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in His wings.” We proclaim healing over you and the nation of Israel and may it rain down a fresh touch from Heaven. Amen!

This month, we had a very special and sensitive meeting in our central office in Netanya. We were honored to host and take part in a meeting with the national leader and their Board of one of the largest Holocaust survivor organizations in Israel that oversees thirty-two branches all over the nation. Most of those in this meeting were the remaining living member leaders of the Netanya Branch, as several have passed away these last couple of months. There was encouragement and clarity given in this meeting to move forward in the best way possible, by continuing outreach to the hundreds of survivors who remain alive. Their national leader requested Abundant Bread of Salvation’s continued assistance in every way possible. Halleluyah! Please continue to pray for this relationship and the Spirit of the Lord to work through us to bring comfort wherever needed. We cannot do this without your partnership.

Project Orphan Hope. As mentioned above, summer is coming to an end and the new school year for the kids is about to start. We were approached with an urgent request from the director of the local girl’s orphanage. The need is for the purchase of 120 bed sets for the new school year for the girls of this amazing home. The discounted cost is roughly $4000 U.S. dollars for all the sets of bedding that bring much comfort and identity for these girls. We are not concerned about the cost because we know that the Lord is prompting your hearts as you read this to cover this need as His Spirit leads you. You can never out-give God! We are the boots on the ground and the hands of Yeshua to bring His light into these dark places and broken lives. Thank you so much for listening to His still small voice about what part you will take in fulfilling this dire need for the new school year.

Ethiopian Outreach. We at Abundant Bread of Salvation are always amazed at the broad spectrum of people we can reach for Zion’s sake and for Yeshua’s salvation. God’s love sees no color. Every month we are serving and giving food bags to many dozens of Ethiopian Jews, both those who still have not found their living Messiah, as well as a vibrant, active and Spirit-filled Ethiopian Messianic Jewish congregation in Netanya. Monthly, they come to our outreach center and fill their van with food products that provide for at least 30 families for their basic needs. Precious ones, as you know and have seen the prices of food going higher and higher, this has affected our budget in a huge way.
