Speaking of sweetness,
in Israel and all over the world our Jewish people are celebrating Rosh
HaShanah, otherwise known as The Feast of Trumpets. It is also the
head of the Jewish New Year and traditional to eat apples dipped in honey,
and that is very tasty indeed! We remember that we were once slaves living
in bitterness, but now, thanks to God, we are living in the sweetness of
our deliverance from Egypt as well as from our sinful lives that Yeshua
took upon himself so that we can have eternal life. Please take a
moment now and say a prayer for the salvation of our Jewish people. As
Abundant Bread of Salvation does its sacrificial work, our people will know
how much they are loved by our Father in Heaven. It says, in Joel 2:1,
“Blow the Trumpet in Zion, sound the alarm on my holy mountain! Let
all the inhabitants of the land tremble for the day of the Lord is coming,
it is near.” Halleluyah! Don’t we feel this now more than ever
before? There is an incredible urgency in the air here in Israel and
we must continue serving Him and making Him known to our Jewish people
wherever they are. Arise O’Lord and may our enemies be
scattered! We wish you all a sweet and happy Jewish New Year
and may your names be inscribed in the Lamb's Book of Life.
